No not all, but if you want to start somewhere, he'd be a good place to. Tell me one thing he is giving this team that we need right now. He is not nearly the threat off the dribble we thought he was and he is a horrible outside shooter.

Read the previous post. Singling anyone out this game is pointless. The whole team was complete garbage. The rockets are not on this level. They gave up 100 pts in 3 quarters. That alone should tell ü it's a loss period. That's just terrible this whole team

So Beverly get us down 30 when he is in the game, yet Lawson is the bad one? What was Bevs plus minus?

Welp. Spurs took out all their frustration and anger from getting slaughtered by the Warriors on us. :(

Both JB and Calvin confirmed what I was seeing. The effort on defense just wasn't there.

Yeah, Lawson upping his "+-" against the Spurs scrubs somehow makes him more impactful...

So if ü want to start somewhere ü want to go with a current backup pg who plays maybe 20 mins a game on some nights is where the rockets struggles are ok. I saw plenty of passes that were clearly bricks tonight by the shooters. Obviously if they don't hit the chances of houston being competitive is extremely slim bc they aren't good defensively to fall back on.

Ty Lawson has been less than stellar in his time with the Rockets...

The thing is Lawson is supposed to be starting for us and giving us 16 and 8. He's making a lot of money this season to be a zero off the bench. Why are you giving him a pass?

That's the hilarious part. Somehow Lawson playing a few minutes in the first half contributed to the rockets being down 30 by the 3rd quarter lol

Am I giving him a pass? Again I said the whole team was garbage today.

Btw why isn't he starting? Might want to ask the other guard in the backcourt about that one

More excuses from you. Ty and the rest of the bench continuously gives up leads or puts us in holes. No matter how poorly he plays you'll continue to defend him. I actually admire your loyalty because Lawson sure hasn't been giving you anything in return.

    1. Warriors
    2. Spurs
    3. Thunder
    4. Clippers.

I don't want any of those teams in the first round. We are 9 games behind the Thunder for 3rd seed which gives us the best shot at getting past the first round (while avoiding the Warriors in the second round). The OKC have been healthy this season, and that's whats keeping the Rockets from having a shot at the 3 seed and the Grizz/Mavs in round 1.

You shouldn't get your hopes up.

And should figure that the 96% of the season played so far with absolutely laughable defense - is the norm.

And those one-two minute spurts every 19 games or so isn't going to happen often.

This talent, this team, is a lost cause while this entire coaching staff is still on the bench.

It's just the way it is. This team is changing for better or worse. They are who they are when the ones calling the shots are content with how things are.

It is disgusting that things so easily pointed out as being flawed with our defensive philosophy a while ago - are still happening every single game.

HES SHOOTING 39 PERCENT. He couldn't start on any playoff team right now.
