Look at how Draymond Green has made a difference in Golden State. Power Forward is the new Center. Welcome back Josh Smith. Knee Jerk reactions welcome, those two games have been the most fun to watch all season. Something is in the air and I'm happy to knee jerk considering how unpleasant games have been to watch until this point. Rudy Tomjanovich, Ralph Sampson, Otis Thorpe, Robert Horry, Luis Scola, Josh Smith, its the Rockets glue position for every playoff successful Rockets team. Its just the way it is, go to the Oracle of Delphi and Pythia will confirm.
I agree , we are trending for what its worth. Looks on paper ! But you got to play the games ,buddy!!
Guards in today's NBA can't make a freakin post entry pass, so instead of learning how to pass the ball, NBA went the other direction - deleted the Center position.
Maybe of only beating us by 20 next time they play us. This team has drastically improved no question, but keep in mind that we lost to the Warriors WITHOUT Curry and were losing to Mavs yesterday. We are playing better can become something special, but first we need to be come consistent and smarter. All that said Smith really has impressed me mostly with his decision making and not his scoring. Less turnovers, better shot selection and more player movement all reasons to believe that better things are to come.
Bbhollic can you give us some knowledge from your insider report? What are our odds of getting Smart? I have been a huge fan sunce his Ok State days.
I'm going to have to replace Lawson with Ariza. He has been the main reason for our wins recently. He has been playing out of his mind.
We are officially where we were last year. Can beat bad teams by very thin margins, will likely lose to elite teams. We'll have an outside prayer of upsetting higher seeded teams.
As much as I think the Warriors are trembling with fear at the sight of Josh Smith, I think we should angle for the sixth seed... and stay there. Absolutely do not move up to the 4th/5th seed. This gives us the best chance at the WCF again.
