Lawson has an alley-oop buddy off the bench now.

So, do you keep starting Bev?

Yes. Bev is an ideal starting PG next to Harden.

I'd keep starting bev at this point. If jb was smart there would never be a moment where either Lawson or harden is not on the court

Band of Brothers is going to be our bench squad with D-Mo out and Thornton soon relegated to bench warmer:

Ty, Terry, Brew, Josh & Montrezl

Absolutely when Bevs is healthy you start him. Need that defense next to Harden and Bevs has become a better spot up shooter for Harden to kick it out too.

Lawson and Smoove will provide a double punch of scoring off the bench. Terry for the kick out 3s and Brewer for transition baskets.

No way you take Thornton out.....

Not sold on Montrez yet... He's young and needs time to grow...

Yes, of course. The offense isn't the issue, it's the defense. Smith helps the defense. Ty Lawson to the starting five doesn't.

Keep Lawson on the bench, start Smoove. Maybe move Smoove back to the bench if D Mo is ever healthy

    I'd probably start

PG: Ty (he has shown signs of improvement and he is the x-factor come playoff time - it is time to get him consistent minutes and for him and Harden to build some serious chemistry)

    SG: Harden

    SF: Ariza

PF: Smith (secondary playmaker and spacing will allow more room for Harden and Ty to attack)

C: Howard (or Capela if Dwight is out for longer)

Yeah, Bev makes more sense next to Harden at this point. If Lawson and Harden can't mesh after 40+ games, they just aren't going to mesh. We'll have to stagger their minutes for the most part.

I'm more surprised that Lawson has been quiet and ineffective even with JH on the bench. That's alarming, but hopefully another playmaker in the 2nd unit will help.

I have been of the opinion that Bev should be starting ever since Lawson got traded here before the failed experiment. Everything that has happened since has just reinforced my opinion.

Keep starting Bev. In the end the bench needs to provide a spark

    Starting 5:
    Bev
    Harden
    Ariza
    Smith
    Howard

    Rotation:
    Lawson
    Terry/Thorton
    Brewer
    Capela
    Harrell

Hard poll to answer because you have 2 questions in 1...

    Yes, Beverly should start.
But I think we might as well start Smoove. Capela can play the backup big minutes and give us legit size off the bench.

My how the tables have turned on people wanting Lawson starting.
