    He did good against the Lakers and Pistons - didn't show up against the Clippers and Cleveland.

    I feel like it had more to do with the opposition he was facing than him all of a sudden flipping the switch. We need him to play at an elite level against elite teams too.

    HUGE pickup. The team needed and was missing that extra veteran big. Smith was the rockets 2nd best play maker for the team last season and hopefully he can give the team some extra offensive punch.

    just saying in general. but anyways the things he might have been able to years ago like guarding multiple positions like wings isn't true anymore imo. In the end I'm not expecting this to be some "huge" upgrade like it looks like many are thinking at the moment. But for what its worth I hope I am wrong by seasons end but I'm not going to be surprised when the frustration rolls around again with him. As bad as Harden has taken a ton of flack this year, wait til the JS drama arrives.

    More than an X's and O's improvement, this shakes things up in terms of clubhouse leadership. We are the one team in the NBA you could argue Josh Smith brings a positive contribution in leadership to.

    I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but he does represent hope.

    You're right and maybe there was a reason the Nuggets weren't very good. Or maybe Lawson needs more time. Rockets got another playmaker in Josh Smith that should give him more time ofcourse we still have JB for a coach so it might be all for naught.
