He never went past 2nd round, so many voters think he's overrated also because of lack of playoff success.

So this makes me wonder how high TMAC will be ranked. Top 70-80?
VC would be the same. No playoff success.

You get a ring and MVP like Curry, it's auto Top 50

Exactly. I'm all for longevity, but the highest peak needs some recognition as well. It's not as if it's just a few weeks now.

Indeed. If Love was on that sonics team we would not have needed to trade for Barkley.

Possible kick in the balls to Hornacek ( who deserve it ) and Calvin Murphy. Otis Thorpe doesn't get enough recognition. Pete Maravich?

to who the bell also tolls... Larry Nance, Bernard King, Detlef Schrempf.

Looking for these rockets to make the top 50.

    Hayes
    McHale
    Howard
    Drexler
    Olajuwon
    Barkley
    Pippen
    Ewing
    M. Malone

That would give us 9 of the top 50 which is pretty impressive.

Of course he will, but I'm surprised that he hasn't already been listed. I'd list Dikembe over McGrady.

Rodman 64, T-Mac 63. Consider me tuned out to this list. Rodman is a top 50 player.

Idk how to edit posts but I add Dwight is easily a top 50 player. 3 dopy. Led a team to the finals. Leads Orlando in almost every category. Averages like 19 and 13 for career. All NBA teams. Olympic teams. Isn't done. List is broke

Dwight is one of the best post defenders and rebounders of all time...people completely forget and act like current dwight is the way he has always been b/c of the media hate. Rodman is the best rebounder and one of the best defenders of all time with 5 rings. Both players are top 50. T-Mac and Carter and English are better than Ginobili who never had to carry a team but they are placed outside the top 50 for obvious reasons. T-Mac and Vince-injuries and lack of playoff success and English played zero D.

CWebb's #s are top 10 PF of all time. Easily top 40 IMO. ZO one of the best shot blockers ever, Bob Lanier career 20 and 10 and Artis Gilmore another double double career but penalized for having his most dominant seasons in the ABA. All 3 are big men with more value to a franchise than someone like Ginobili. No respect to players of the past.

This list is all about the modern era. I hope someone does a count of how many players of each decade there are in the top 100 and the more recent decades will have the most players in this list.

If he wins a title he easily passes all them up. That's why Ginobili is higher than some of these players on the list.

Agreed. The fact that Manu is higher than Rodman tells you a lot about their methods.
