If you want to have a real discussion about mental illness than you should not bring it up relating to tinsane. Your statememt on mental illness is correct and should be taken seriously, however becomes invalid in the context you are expressing it. If you have followed his posting about jlin and his fan he can definitely be classified as having a form of mental illness. I would know better than most others because I have a family member suffering mental illness and an uncle who committed suicide due to the illness. I also managed in the past a housing facility for people with mental illness, so I can recognize and identify that tinsane shows many similar attributes as someone suffers a serious mental illness.

I hope your family member gets the treatment and help they need. You simply cannot diagnose somebody without ever having met with them and having performed a proper assessment, even if you are a trained psychologist. If you imagine that someone has an SMI, and given your personal experience with those around you, it seems puzzling that you would think it was ok to poke fun.
Thanks for your concerns. The hardest part for someone suffering mental illness is believing they need help even if the people closest to them is providing all their support and help. My poking fun is not to be insensitive to people with real mental illnes but to help him understand there is a serious issue he has with him feelings and thoughts about people who are fans of lin.
