Spurs signed Boban Marjanovic

For every answer.....there's another answer in the NBA. It simply has to be discovered. That's what makes this league and this game so great. Because it constantly evolves. There's an answer to the Dubs small-ball lineup with Draymond at the 5. It's a matter of when and who discovers it. And it most likely won't involve coming up with a better small-ball lineup. It will most likely involve outsizing them and forcing them to defend in half-court with bigs that can shoot and one really big big that can post up.

I guess he thinks I'm stupid or something. Spurs have Duncan/LaMarcus/Diaw/West at the big spots. And he wants to prove something by betting on Boban averaging 20 minutes a game...when he's coming in as a rookie and will have to play himself into the primary rotation during the season. Gimme a break.


But watch what Boban does. If he stays healthy watch what he is doing by the end of the season. He's already started to do things. This is just the beginning. See if he has surpassed one of West/Diaw in the rotation. If he stays healthy he will be a big factor in the playoffs.


Besides, B-Bob sure didn't find Boban and bring him here to the board for your consideration. It doesn't take anything to crap on somebody else's picks. It does take something to stick your neck out there and tell the board what players are on the up and comers list. B-Bob doesn't have the guts for that action.

It's ****ing ridiculous how many options the Spurs have. They can go with a smallball lineup with Diaw at center, or they can go really big with Boban at center while Duncan/Aldridge play PF. Not to mention there's also West. Man, they're going to be a tough puzzle to other teams to figure out when the playoffs come.

 

I like how he lands on the ground and stares at him before he lets go of the rim.
