Time to switch on this game. How we doing? Defence exists?

 

I guessed you missed Lawson rolling out the red carpet on the defensive end.

 

Rockets need to come out and take over the 3rd quarter. Game can still be had but the team needs to show something early in the 3rd. First 4 minutes will be key.

 

Defense is good enough to win but the Offense doesnt exist

 

The Rockets dont deserve to win games like tonight. Not giving a ish about your opponent and then hoping to turn it on in the second half. Im tired of apathetic basketball from this team. This is a game I love...and these a$$hats play with no sense of purpose or care. They dont treat the game right, and they dont deserve the rewards the game has to offer. It starts with Harden and Howard, and till they stop BS'ing around...we will continue to be a below avg NBA team.

 

Basically the usual. No defense, no effort. Harden and Howard taking the nights off. Harden continuing his NBA record TO season and JB looking clueless.

 

Harden is ass man.

Someone posted a while back about some private conversation someone had with Harden, and the conclusion was that he does not really care. Harden is an immensely gifted offensive player, but lets face it, even if we comeback and win this game, Harden, as currently is, cannot lead a franchise to anything. His attitude on the floor is hard to watch. I get it, this team is not great, Dwight is no longer the player he used to be, but everyone is trying. When your best player plays like he absolutely does not care, on National TV, against all stars?? There is nothing more to say. Its time to start over. I don't think Harden can be coach unless Harden changes his ways. You have to have some pride, get upset when you have live turnovers, no expression whatsoever and keeps doing the same thing. Then the next game he goes of for 40... This franchise is going nowhere with THIS JAMES HARDEN, unless he changes... and Only JAMES HARDEN can answer that question.... Do I really want to be great at basketball or not??
JAMES HARDEN can still be great, but he really needs help at this point ... He is definitely better than what we are watching him do.. or not do...

 

Hopefully we can put the ball in the hoop and play some defense this half

 

To be fair he was guarding Kyrie who was beating Bev as well. You can't just instantly bench Lawson for at least trying to play D just being bad at it and continue to play Harden.

 

I don't think it was a good idea to put Lawson in there.

Not the main reason we're sucking, but this was not the time to mess with chemistry.

 

I'm confused on people attacking dwight Tonight? He is the only one going for offensive rebounds and scoring when he gets it. He can't guard 4-5 people at once. Players need to learn how to play defense because it's obvious dwight is annoyed with it

harden has to get it going......or womp womp womp

 

Harden this season in a nutshell: only tries on defense once every 5 games or so, has a terrible shot selection & volume bricks, careless nonchalant TO's, almost no intensity/explosiveness, and general apathy for long stretches of games.
