The animation in that final episode was glorious. There is just something about that series/manga it seems so simple but it is just so good. Also to all the Food Wars lovers in this thread we are getting a second season. I wonder how far it will go...the recent stuff in the manga is very good.
Goku as a Super Saiyan God would have a shot but it seems like Saitama has limitless power so he probably would get it.
Saitama and it isn't even close. SSJ God mode is a joke. When Saitama does anything there is weight behind it. I've been trying to watch Dragon Ball Super and even though it seems Goku and Vegeta have reached another level of Super Saiyan it doesn't seem like it effects the world around them.
Were we watching the same show? It seemed like the fight Goku and Beres were having was on the verge of destroying the Universe. I understand what you're saying about the weight of Saitama's attacks tho...we don't really know what kind of damage he could do on a galactic scale if he was to release his full power. I assume Saitama could destroy a planet in one punch if he so chose to.
Well Saitama is written to always win. However, I'm sure Freiza could beat Boros at 50% I mean he destroyed a planet with a finger. I totally understand that animation makes it look like Saitama is on another level compared to DBZ but I don't think that should necessarily dictate a victory. Who knows.
Watched this last week and cried like a little bich during the last minutes of the final episode. Kaori was such a well-writen character.
Is this a romantic dramedy? I don't watch many of them but when I find a good one I get invested in it. Last one I watched was Golden Time...its not new but it had good characters and the drama got real in it.
Boku dake ga Inai Machi Dagashi Kashi Way better imo. Story and characters are fantastic. The soundtrack is one of the best i've heard! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nVmaUlPHEuc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I was excited when Knights of Sidonia came out but then realized it was all CG. Can't get passed episode 4. The character designs are terrible! I can't tell anyone apart. I think I've watched 19 episodes of Seven Deadly Sins, another Netflix produced anime. I don't know if it's good or bad, yet I continue to watch it.
I picked up Kono Subarashii Sekai ni and Hai to Gensou no Grimgar. Both are in a rpg setting like sword art online. They both started out pretty good imo.
I've watched much of what is being discussed above this past few months: Food Wars - Awesome! One Punch Man - Awesome! Overlord - Awesome! 7 Deadly Sins - Was decent, but seemed like a typical adventure anime and the twist was kinda obvious Knights of Sidonia - I enjoyed both seasons, but it's not what I would call awesome Psycho-Pass - Awesome if you like a Philip K Dick-style story Still following Haikyuu and GATE, currently.
Dragon Ball and DBZ are the only anime series I have ever watched and I haven't seen a episode in years. Loved those 2 shows growing up. Never saw any of GT, none of the Dragon Ball movies, not one single episode from any other anime. Have no idea who this saitama guy is, but this post had me cracking up longer than it should have for some reason.
Yes, but with less comedy and towards the end with very heavy feels (I cry like once every few years, but this made me sob like a little girl). The two Main characters are extremely well-written and the music is great, especially for fans of classical music and Chopin. I'm kinda on a romance anime marathon since December and watched most of the big ones, this one was definitely the most emotional and with the deepest and mature message. Will recommend some other ones when I'm on my PC.
