Yeah, me too. I didn't realize girls were all that important until a classmate, uh, "blossomed" in the fifth grade.
No crushes on teachers? I had this teacher in the 2nd grade who's skirt I was always trying to look up...
Sh*t, I think that's what it was. For most of us black folx, any name with more than two syllables was acceptable back in the day.
I can't remember how old I was, but back in my Power Ranger phase, I kind of had a crush on the Pink ranger. I always wanted to be the Green/White ranger. I can't really remember any others.
Amy Jo Johnson. She was also in some made for TV gymnastics movie and Suzy Q on the Disney Channel, amongst other things. I liked her too, but hated the show (damn Voltron ripoff). Plus I was well past 8.
Yeah, I remember the name now. I think I saw her in some show dealing with drug overdose or something and I was kind of shocked. After a while, the power ranger thing wore off on me. Got real stupid and um...dumb. I wouldn't have even watched it if my friends didn't get me in it. My friend said if I wanted to be the green ranger, I was like, "Ok...whatever." I thought it was a cartoon since all I watched was cartoons.
My strange, twisted answer.... When I was 8, I had the hots for the woman who played Electra Woman (from the Syd and Marty Krofft Saturday morning show "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl") Years later, as a teen, I watched a soap opera: Days of Our Lives.... not because I liked the show, but because I thought that the actress who played Marlena Brady (Diedre Hall) was hot. A few years ago, late at night, I stumbled across a re-run of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl on Nickelodeon. I was shocked to see that Electra Woman was played by a young Diedre Hall! So, I have had some strange sexual obsession with Diedre Hall since I can remember. -- droxford
Elisabeth Shue was unbearably hot in the opening scene where she's bouncing around her bedroom in a super-short skirt. in the rest of the movie, though.... bleh. -- droxford
I kind of liked the blue Power Ranger. Oh, that was the guy, wasn't it. Well he looked sexy in Stargate SG-1. Actually, wasn't 8 years old like third grade for most of you?!?! That's when I had a crush on this Russian blonde. (what? she was the only other Jew in the class). To this day, blondes are number 1, second to none. I also kind of thought that covergirl from Playboy was hot (I guess I've said too much)...
Greta Munchausen Danielle Edwards I forget what actresses, but it's never too early to say Jennifer Connelly
i had a crush on Jenny Thompson back in 4th grade and even sat next to her in english. she was a gymnast who actually got up to the U.S. national team tryouts for the olympic team and it was on nbc, so i guess technically y'all could know who she is (not as hot as she was at 8). she didn't make it, but oh well. man she could do a ridiculous number of chin-ups whenever they made us do them in gym. strangely enough, kim zmeskal also went to my elementary school, though well before me. i guess we know how to breed gymnasts over here. for actual famous people, i'm sure i had a crush on tiffany amber theissen. how could you not like kelly kapowski.
