I remember the Texans were looking to trade down and take Mack? I like Clowney but that would have been nice

For someone who was "fine", Clowndog may not play again this season.

He's due to have one healthy season at some point. That is the season you want to trade him, but I have a feeling it's going to be his contract year.

No you're better off seeing what you can get out of him next year. It's the last year of his contract so you don't have anything to lose.

This is a guy who didn't try hard to come back his last year in college because he was already the #1 pick no matter what. He's just not competitive.

It's not that. He is just legitimately hurt. That is the real problem.

This is the guy who worked his butt off to be ready 9 months after micro fracture surgery when early projections were 11-12 months.

Meh. I'd rather have Mercilus playing his natural position and Simon starting then Clowney trying to give it a go at 75%.

No Mack would not have played if he had the injury. That's the point though. He wouldn't have the injury because he doesn't get hurt every other game.

dude its the ****ing playoffs. nothing is guaranteed. we may advance and we may not. you think other players would not play if they were 75 percent? this shows how weak clowney is mentally. if watt was 50 percent he would play. clowney is a clown

Watt was ineffective with his cast on. The Texans actually would have been better off with Clowney and Mercilus starting. Playing hurt/ injured isn't always smart.
