He's about to win back-to-back MVPs at age 27. There's a lot of prime years left in him. IMO, Jordan and Lebron had more dominant single seasons than Curry's having, but he's as unstoppable as any player I've ever seen. I say this as someone who roots against GS and thought Harden should have won the MVP last season.
Like many others have mentioned. Possibly the greatest shooter of all time but definitely not the greatest player. He's on the right path but he has wayyyy more to prove/accomplish before even considering him GOAT. Credentials MVP's - 1 Championships - 1 NBA All Star - 2 All NBA First Team - 1 All NBA Second Team - 1
Maybe he could lay claim to greatest individual season of all time, but def not GOAT. And even "best season" is objective.
I don't even think he's even close to that at all. Lebron's run from 08-2010 beats this easy. Jordan had runs in the 80's as individual player that curry is nowhheerre near. Lets not forget the guy gets hidden on a team of very good perimeter defenders. Far from the GOAT, if he and Jordan played 1-1 10 times, Jordan wins all 10 handily.
Not the goat yet- let's see in 5 years how many scoring titles and championships he has under his belt

Such disrespect to legends who have had at least 8-10+ GREAT seasons. Curry is sitting at 1 and half seasons...and really in my opinion only this season has been great or all time level. Jerry West not on that list pisses me off. B4 anyone tries to say he's a SG, no. He played SG 2 years out of his whole career. Magic Johnson played SG his first 4 years in the league and PF his final year..
I think positions are essentially meaningless now. Originally I felt like they were named as a specific role was defined. The PG's role was the distribute and take care of the ball. the SG's role was to shoot or slash, or both, etc... Now you're simply putting the shortest guy out as PG because you want him defending the other team's PG, not because he's necessarily running your offense. Is Beverly really a PG? Or is he just a perimeter defender that most often times defends the PG of the other team, and therefore called a PG by name only?
LOL Curry we don't even know if Curry has peaked and he's already #4. When he retires there's a high chance he'll be #1. Btw Johnson is as much a pg as Curry, dude could have been a PF or C based on his height and ability to score in the post.
If Curry never played another game after today, ten years from now would we consider him better than Isaiah Thomas? I don't think so, and that means that he shouldn't be above him on this list now.
put it this way. When people watched thomas play, no one said... 'he's breaking the game of basketball.' curry is legitimately the best shooter of ALL TIME. He's changing the way the game is played. He's already won a ring and been mvp. If I were starting a franchise, I would take Curry first, out of all those point guards. Why? Because HE'S THE BEST SHOOTER TO EVER LIVE. He also has sick handles and can pass as good as anyone. There's something to be said about longevity. But as long as you can last one year healthy and lead your team to a ring, that's good enough in my book.
Unless there's a better explanation, it appears that Steph was crying after the game. If so, caring that much about a regular season game against the Nuggets is crazy. It's that intense hatred of losing that drives the best of the best.

38 points by @StephenCurry30 weren't enough to hold off the Nuggets. That's the complete opposite demeanor from Harden, who looks like he doesn't care even after we get blown out or he commits 10 turnovers.
As good as Steph is, I'm not even sure if he is the most important person on that team. Draymond may be...
when harrison barnes went down, they didn't miss a beat. when bogut is out they don't miss a beat. curry, klay, and green are their big three. Any time one of them misses a game they either lose or almost lose. I feel if one of them went down for awhile they would adjust and still be a good team, but the level they are playing at is all about those three. They lost, but it was still smart to rest Green. Better to get a few losses and win the ring. its pretty crazy how the spurs can rest players and still win. only the spurs can do some crazy crap like that.
