Could be. But Cliven Bundy and his group assaulted federal officials, threatened to shoot officers and actually pointed numerous guns at them during a standoff - and nothing happened to them.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundy_standoff#Confrontations_and_protests_in_April_2014

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that tensions reached a "critical level" during the standoff, "with rifles pointing toward each side."[10] Las Vegas station KLAS-TV also reported that guns were pointed at officers.[78] Assistant Sheriff Lombardo recounted that "they were in my face yelling profanities and pointing weapons," and said, "We were outgunned, outmanned, and there would not have been a good result from it."[78]

A photojournalist for Reuters wrote that armed supporters had "taken up tactical positions on government officers," and that one man pointing a rifle in the direction of BLM employees said, "I've got a clear shot at four of them."[80] Another man said, "I'm ready to pull the trigger if fired upon."[80]

If the Bundy family is so mad & against government taking land away from people,,,,, shouldn't they return their ranch to the Indians?

Now who's being stupid here? You know damn well that these fools are being treated with kid gloves because they are white and folks like yourself (and bigtexx) are OK with that. That place would have been overrun immediately if it was a group of armed Muslims calling for the creation of a caliphate in Oregon. These are domestic terrorists and should be treated as such. I'd lock down the area, shut off all power and jam all cell service there and let those assholes freeze their butts off in the snow. Give them the Donner Party experience and let's see how much they like cannibalism.

Yes, but it wasn't all that long ago either. I'm sure charges can still be brought for that event. I think it's a bit of a head-scratcher why they have not yet brought charges, but various LE types have indicated they'd do something. I'm assuming, I suppose, they are in process on indictments and will eventually make an arrest, but it makes no sense at all to think the FBI is going to be cool with or forget what happened back then, that they are afraid of the militias, or that some secret political cabal is protecting the Bundys. I can't see how charges aren't eventually brought.

The Bundy family are just a bunch of greedy liars with a history of making up crap to fit their narrative & are experts at making themselves look like victims.

    via KLAS

His cattle, until recently, roamed freely on land managed by the federal Bureau of Land Management. Before the roundup that sparked protests, confrontations and gunmen taking a bridge, Bundy explained his "ancestral rights" to the I-Team.

"I've lived my lifetime here. My forefathers have been up and down the Virgin Valley here ever since 1877. All these rights that I claim, have been created through pre-emptive rights and beneficial use of the forage and the water and the access and range improvements," Bundy said.

Clark County property records show Cliven Bundy's parents moved from Bundyville, Arizona and bought the 160 acre ranch in 1948 from Raoul and Ruth Leavitt.

Water rights were transferred too, but only to the ranch, not the federally managed land surrounding it. Court records show Bundy family cattle didn't start grazing on that land until 1954.

The Bureau of Land Management was created 1946, the same year Cliven was born.

Oh, that's embarrassing, you weren't being sarcastic earlier in that other thread, you actually are one of the idiots trying to push that stupid narrative. Yikes.

Anyway, it seems obvious that you aren't really one for knowing what you are talking about, but I fully supported taking them out since the beginning.....I know that doesn't work with the moronic narrative you are going for, but do your best kiddo.

The notion that they are handling this situation differently due to the race of those involved is quite frankly r****ded, if you share that opinion, please keep it to yourself. I'd like to have a more positive opinion of the people in this forum.

You, of all people, shouldn't lecture other posters on decorum.

I'm just asking people to do me the favor of not completely making fools of themselves so that I can have some level of respect for them. I understand that we have posters here who have unbelievably stupid opinions and twisted world perspectives, I just think it's best that some of the more extreme stupid positions remain a secret.

It's been nearly 2 years now, and it's not like there's a lot of evidence that needs to be gathered. It was all fairly public and likely much of it was filmed. Pointing guns at and threatening feds is a pretty open-and-shut case. If they were going to file charges, I think it would have been done a long time ago.

You see Bobby, when one, such as yourself, who seems like a huge proponent of making a fool of yourself, comes out as anti-making a fool of one-self, I find that contrary to what I would expect. I would expect you to be a proponent of it, because you do it often. As a result, I find this amusing.

Oh I get it, you just have such bad judgement that you thought it applied. That works.
