Hakeem is THE Rockets' icon. We would be lucky to see that level of talent, determination and overall kick-assness again.

One more thing...for me it is easy to bash Franchise, T-Mac, Harden, Dwight, etc. after seeing the greatness that was Hakeem and the championship era Rockets. While those guys were/are certainly individually talented I do not see the determination to be GREAT while also making the players around them GREAT. You can't TALK about it you have to BE about it.

lose in playoffs = tmac's fault? then win 22 games in a row = tmac's fault

if you're going to take him to task for the failures, you have to give him credit for the achievements as well. simple logic. take the lsat.

No. Only low brow proles think that. That's okay to think though. The correlation is the other way around. Discipline and effort usually lead people to believe someone has "heart" and then when you further couple the ability to relate to peers and good speaking skills with those things "leadership" is attained.

It all starts with effort and discipline. And that's what Harden is lacking (since you brought him up).

Yes, me thinking 8 years ago that T-Mac had the ability (key word) to carry a team is an underlying factor in my general reasoning for the abstract concepts of heart and leadership.

You've shown an incapability for any form of logical argument or critical thinking. You're not going to get it.

You can put it whatever order you like, but it's all relevant. My point was wasn't the order anyways. Weak argument by you, again. Some guys are leaders by example, so speaking skills don't necessarily matter. Hakeem didn't have good speaking skills... in fact, he rarely spoke! Multiple teammates have said this and consider Dream a great leader. Another bad statement by you. But you wouldn't care if he did anyways since you, "don't put much stock" in leadership to begin with. What a silly statement by you. Lol. Yeah, instead of believing what players say, I'm gonna believe some guy on a message board with an agenda.

Which is why I said Harden wasn't a leader 2 years ago. I was just called a hater and not a Rockets fan, though.

Seven years ago (when you posted), Tracy had already shown signs of lacking leadership, effort, heart, and discipline. He quit on the Magic, was lazy on offense and defense, and didn't take care of his body. The fact he repeatedly choked in the playoffs makes your statement even more foolish. Sure, he started series well, but he deteriorated the later it got.

If my statements aren't logical, you're either...
    1) hating
    2) don't know what logical means
    3) lying

    Pick one

It wasn't only Hakeem as the leader, you had alot of great people on that team. Rudy T comes to mind. Also alot of secondary leaders with alot of experience.
