Dogbelly, How many teams have a true center nowadays? You can probably count them on one hand. Also Carlos didnt play because he had an asthma attack before the game. ------------------ Rockets Season Ticket Holder
Who saw Hakeem dribble the ball the length of the floor...it was FUNNNNNYY! lol ------------------ I wAnT wEbBeR! wHo DoEsN't?!?!
The mack is back.. damn.. 3 in a row.. it feels good.. really good to see dream play like this.. lol.. I don't care how he dribbles.. as long as they continue with this effort.. I have no fear. ------------------ against all odds
I said this once, now I say it again.. 3 games in a row.. carry on like this and I fear Dream might not be with us next season. He has game left in those legs of his. But hell, we're going to get CWebb aren't we..? ------------------ Do not harm little children!
"The difference is you're involved. You don't have to be trying something out of character. I feel like I can make a contribution. I feel like I can help. We worked it out with communication. Now, the coach can call on me in the fourth quarter and have confidence when I go in the game." Novel freaking idea Rudy...play Dream in the 4th?? ------------------ "He said hop on his back and he was goin' ta take us to the promise land...and that's what he done." -- Robert Horry '95
Oh damn. You win. I don't think I've ever seen him dribble. ------------------ "what if my aunt had balls?" -- in one fell swoop, bbs member verse expresses his dislike of "what if" scenarios and shows he has far too much idle time on his hands.
When did ramadan end? Maybe Dream is just gaining strength with ramadan over...Anyone know when that ended? Has it been a while already? ------------------ "I think the people who believed the world was flat were pretty stupid. You would think at least those living near mountains would know better." - P. Thanks, sirhangover hmmmmmm...there goes that theory then. I knew someone who worked in Benin (country next door to Nigeria) who said during Ramadan people would be in sort of an aggitated mood during the day and then be really nice after the sun went down and they could eat. Thought maybe Dream was going through that and then became more powerful because Ramadan ended. hmmm...now, I have no theories about his sudden Clark Kent to Superman act...Whatever it is, Wheaties or whatever, I hope he keeps it going... ------------------ "I think the people who believed the world was flat were pretty stupid. ramadan was in december.. ------------------ "no matter how good she looks someone... somewhere..is tired of her sh*t"
That's right! And I'm going keep bringing back this thread until Dream stops being amazing! WOW! A rebounding machine!! ------------------ "I think the people who believed the world was flat were pretty stupid. You would think at least those living near mountains would know better." - P. Mesku
dogbelly, not saying i believe everything i read necessarily but it sounds like i'm not the only one who thinks ratliff is okay on D. From one of those espn.com morons (that's not a joke either the guys are morons; take the following with a grain of salt, if you like): With Theo Ratliff out for the next six weeks, if not lot longer, due to a stress fracture of the right wrist that yet may require surgery, it's going to be practically impossible for the Sixers to keep winning at their current pace. So much of their success has started at the defensive end, Ratliff's loss could even wind up costing them the top seeding in the East. Behind Ratliff, the Sixers have the fifth-best defense, allowing only 89.6 ppg and 42 percent shooting. They also boast the fifth-best block average. You just can't underestimate Ratliff's loss. "It's like a nightmare," Allen Iverson said before winning his MVP award Sunday. "I thought it was a nightmare when I first heard about it. But when I saw him with the cast, it wasn't a nightmare. It was a reality." The harsh reality is that without Ratliff, the Sixers don't have the league's top shot-blocker anymore. Ratliff was on his way to winning Defensive Player of the Year honors, at least on this scorecard, with his 187 blocks, going into the Sixers' game Tuesday in Milwaukee. His total was only eight fewer than the entire team totals of New York and Miami. ------------------
