Wisconsin has a vacant DC position so it's possible they may go after Todd Orlando. Wisconsin is his alma mater. Also half the starting defense for the Coogs were seniors this year which may give him slightly more incentive.
Great idea, and seems like something that will happen. Unfortunately, one of the downsides of winning is your coaches getting snatched. Hope Coogs can replace him without looking back. New DC should have an advantage as far as better recruits. That Bowl win was so huge, not just for the present, but future too. Nice for things to snowball in a good direction.
Why the **** is there a discussion about relegating Ward to backup? Also, if you've never been a season ticket holder, 2016 is the year to do it. If you can't make every game, just pass your ticket on to someone who can. Support our university!

Ward is a better passer and runner. Postma looked good against Memphis but not so much against UConn. Ward has been great all year.
we need postma as the backup qb next season since we have 2 freshman coming in next season at qb. doesnt make sense to start postma and move ward when we also have a great WR class coming in for recruiting.

Word on the streets is Kyle Allen will be transfering to UH and the announcement is expected to be today.
The #1 ranked QB in his class, the #7 player overall....... 5 star recruit. Ohio State, Florida State, Notre Dame and Alabama all want him and he is very close to joining the University of Houston.
The offense you saw this year is not exactly what Herman will run next year. This year they relied more on smoke and mirrors with issues on the offensive line and at running back. You will see a more traditional offense, with wrinkles once the overall talent improves. There is no real down side to the transfer, it brings more national attention to the program and also keeps him from another school. I also find it very hard to believe he would choose UH (if he indeed does) over schools like Ohio State, Alabama, FSU, ND and virtually everyone else without a good indication he will be given a legitimate chance to compete.
I have yet to hear any confirmation of him signing with UH. It has been known for about a week that UH is one of his final 2 choices. I have considered it a long shot.

Well I also found it hard to believe Ed Oliver would choose us over LSU, Texas, and a bunch of other big schools, but he did. Per big Ed, he went by his gut, his heart, and that he believes in Herman's vision of the school. Also mentioned how UH is getting nationally attention and making/winning the NY6 bowl this year. Allen could possibly light up everyone in our conference, and with big Ed and stud receivers like Cleveland/Lark committing to us, who knows, maybe he'll see our potential and come here too
