Just curious but what are your percentages for how you listen to your music? For example I listen to music from my computer about 60% About 15% from my CD deck, 10% from my MD Deck, and about 10% on my portable MD, and the radio 5% of the total time I listen to music. And lastly my percentages for using headphones as opposed to listening to music outloud on my amplifier is about 90% headphones and 10% outloud these days? What are the percentages for you guys? First off what your source is for listening to music, and lastly how often do you use headphones versus not using headphones?
80% radio 10% cd's 10% broadcast mp3's to my car stereo via my Neuros on drives to Houston and back. Listen to mp3's at work.
60% PC 25% car 25% "other" (various home and outdoors devices) We're not talking live music at clubs, right? I'm not including that.
40% iPod (with headphones) 30% CD/radio in kitchen 15% radio in bedroom 5% CD player in office 5% CD/radio in car 5% computer iTunes
95% headphones at work (CD's only) 5% MP3's on my computer Weird. I have a sweet home stereo system and I never use it.
It's strange, isn't it? One of the reasons I don't listen to my sound system as much is that I can listen to CD's on my PC at the highest sound quality, from a speaker system that is outstanding as long as you're not more than 10 feet from it and I don't have to compete with my kid's music. I close the doors and crank that baby up. Great while you're on the Net!
35% Home Stereo System 15% Car CD 20% Car Radio 10% MP3 Player 20% At work on one of my CD players/radios
