I think Boogie will prolly be traded to the Heat... But what we can get from Sac is Rudy Gay Brewer TJ & Dekker
I don't see how we can poach Lawson and Jones for a 3 fit and a playmaker defender at pg. You have someone in mind? Did you see last years playoffs of Noah? Most of the time he was ignored. He had this year 2 good games before he got reinjured. You say that you want to sell Ariza before his value slips and I understand it. But Noah's value has not slipped it has plummeted. Let's say that Ariza is worth one quarter. Then Noah is worth 2 cents and Brewer is worth -5 cents. Snell is worth 0. (I am fairly certain that Snell will be used by the Bulls as only filler. They will not keep him). And do you think that Noah will resign here? I seriously doubt it. I see him as a 6 month rent. Noah will go back to Chicago and resign there for 8-9 per on the cheap. Just like Hinrich did. He is a very particular personality. So it's our most valuable tradeable asset which we will not be able to replace , even if his worth is slowly diminishing for a 6 month rent of Noah , who come playoff time is completely ignored by defenders. If I were Morrey I would ask at least this : Brewer (negative value) + Ariza for Taj Gibson (cheap non expiring contract who is also a combo big) + Bulls first round pick + Snell. I don't see any trade of Lawson+ Jones for a 3 and a playmaker unless you are referring to the Bogdanovic +JJ? Lawson may be playing lately better but his value remains a big fat zero which is very hard to be moved due to the size of it. Big expirings (over 11) are hard to move.
Fine. I'll gladly take Noah, Snell, and Brooks for Lawson, Brewer, and Jones since Noah is pure garbage. LOL. I wished you were Gar.
I'd like that, Dwight and Noah on the court at al times with Capela sprinkled in and we get to keep Ariza? **** ya
iF I was Gar I would hate my own team so first thing I would do was trade Noah. Then in about no time the lockeroom would implode. And no matter the fall of Noah doesn't mean the Bulls will trade him for the negative value of Brewer and the zero value of Lawson. They will want Ariza naturally. Their aim is wings. And they severely overvalue to the point of delusion their own players. (except Snell who they humiliated publicly). But other pieces like Jones could be included for sure. Like this: http://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/6641973 Brewer + Ariza + T.Jones for Gibson + Noah + Snell. You are severely overestimating Noah's value. Severely.
I hope you're right. Because that means we can get Noah for a little of nothing and keep our better assets. And if Noah is that cheap then Nene is a likely buyout candidate and a minimum contact addition without us having to prod Washington with a trade asset for them to make the buyout happen. And that would be great too. Come to think of it we should be able to load up and solve our defensive and rebounding issues for minimum salary signings and then move out Brewer and other dead weight for an expiring and a first rounder relatively easy. You're way over valuing wings and significantly under valuing quality bigs. Noah is far from done. And I'm going to remind you of it after while too.
Or maybe you should see my post above or reread carefully what I wrote. Noah will take Ariza because otherwise we have nothing that they want. The end. That doesn't mean that they have ANY kind of similar value it only means that's what they aim for a WING (brewer is not a wing because he's not an nba caliber player right now) to be willing to part with any kind of asset. And it means if we are the ones who will give them the wing they want they will have to add MUCH more value than Noah and we can also get rid of the negative value. And why exactly should Washington buyout Nene? Why buyout an expiring contract? So instead of on purpose misuse my words and then throw the "I will remind you" like you are some kind of nba savvant learn to pay attention to what other people say. And no matter what you say one has only to watch Noah for the last two years to see how bad his knees are and how fast he has fallen. It's bone on bone and there is no return. But from what I am seeing you post you haven't been watching Bulls games.
More random thoughts... Howard & Terry For Robin Lopez & Calderon Or Lawson & KMcD For Lopez NYK have a long term 5 in Porzingis. Lopez will be shipped soon to save money. He would compliment DMo and clear up a lot issues we have going forward at 12M+ / per over 4 seasons, IMO. NYK like "names" maybe Howard pulls us in his replacement and finds a role for his old friend --> Phil, while Terry keeps shooting 3 with Calderon's minutes. Or Lawson gets a fresh start and does his job as the point (with the ball in his hands) they so badly need PLUS they pick up a solid wing prospect. But the most important thing is they clean up their books and we get a our next starting center. (locked in on a fair contract)
I want Brook Lopez ... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=10193351&postcount=1613 By the way, Porzingis is more of a PF anyway. A defensive minded C next to him is perfect to develop.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=h37vdq4 Rondo + Cousins Howard + Jones + Terry + 2 First Round Picks Let us get something for Howard. Howard will go elsewhere on the higher bidder, i mean if he ops in he will only lose money, plus its not working here in h-town, and hes starting to regress. Cousin, Dmo, Ariza, Harden, Rondo. Could be the shuffle we need. If Cousins is a headcase, maybe houston can work with him, knowing how this organzation has helped focus troubled players.
Lawson + McDaniels for Afflalo + Calderon (salary dump) Afflalo plays PG next to Harden with the Ginobili role on the team running the 2nd unit. Calderon gets bought out?
Me too .... If you could get both Afflalo & Calderon for Lawson & McDaniels .... I would be pretty happy with the return. I think Calderon is a better fit and Afflalo could play with Harden or when he was on the bench and could take Brewers minutes and rest Ariza some too. Haven't checked to see if the money works or the contract lengths .... but I might pull the trigger on that deal on talent , fit and flexibility. Would allow for some interesting combinations in the back court. PatBev / Calderon Harden / Afflalo Ariza / Afflalo
The trading season is here... Are we buyers or sellers? The front office looks to be trying and knows if the assets are not moved soon they will not have a return, even a small return is still a return. The coaching staff is calling out players and players look to lack the will to win on a daily bases. SELLERS BUT We do have some buoyancy. (Maybe something very small) BUYERS Thoughts?
Seriously doubt there are any takers for a Harden superstar swap. Best trade you can do for Harden is to get a ton of picks.
Remember that quote where the Kings owner said he wants to play 4 on 5 on defense with one guy just standing at the opposing team's basket? Dream situation for Harden.
Morey mentioned a few weeks ago about how difficult it was to get good shooters like Korver and Anderson, but he could've signed them a few years ago. If he really believed in his system of 3pters and layups, then he could've signed Korver and Anderson. Sure, we likely wouldn't have gotten Harden had we done that, but at least he stayed true to his moreyball.
