    Sure he had some kind of drugs in his system, judging by that pic, he's high on something like Oxy's. Yes, it will be interesting to see him slide down the slippery slope he current on...

    [rQUOTEr]'Affluenza' teen to remain in Mexico, for now

    An official in Mexico says a teen fugitive from Texas known for using an "affluenza" defense has been granted a three-day delay in deportation.

    An official with Mexico's Migration Institute told Associated Press reporter E. Eduardo Castillo on Wednesday that 18-year-old Ethan Couch won a three-day court injunction.

    The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he or she wasn't authorized to be quoted by name.

    Couch and his mother were scheduled to be sent back to the U.S. on Wednesday. It wasn't immediately clear if his mother, Tonya Couch, also would be granted a delay.

    Both had been scheduled to fly back to Houston after authorities said a phone call for pizza led to their capture in the Mexican resort city of Puerto Vallarta. They were being held at immigration offices in Guadalajara.

    Couch's attorneys did not immediately return calls for comment.[/rQUOTEr]

    I don't get it,,, why is the Ethan fighting & delaying extradition? I would think American prisons are better than the Mexican ones.

    He has drugs in his system and is waiting for them to clear out is my guess.

    I saw a prison documentary about Mexican prisons. I mean they are bad...but they are way worse when you are an inmate and are from the US. Even if you are Mexican but they know you had spent time in the US. They really zone in on you then.

    So yeah...keep this guy in a Mexican prison please.

    Just saw a report that he won the right to stay for 3 more days. Absolutely mind blowing how much support this kid and his Mom are getting from the law.

    That guy Van Der sloot... yeah he got his way. He even impregnated somebody while in jail.

    If I remember correctly an inmate in Baltimore impregnated 4 guards earlier this year.

    Based on the information about extradition from the El Chapo thread, "affluenza" may be able to delay deportation for a year or more by trickling his challenges.
