Dude, just shut up We get it. You're happy with mediocrity. You don't have to tell the GARM this in every other post of yours.
Look at a few of your last posts even before the ones above and tell me I'm wrong. You're pretty much saying the same thing. We know your position. Now save your posts on something else.
Let's say Les gives him a shot to turn it around until the All-Star break ... if it doesn't work out he will become an assistant coach again, IMO. I don't believe the 'Bickerstaff will be the Rockets head coach for the rest of the season' quotes by DM and Les ...
Les just said he would give this man until the end of the season. Unless you have credible sources then why put in horse shiit quotes?
Maybe this why JB is being given til the end of the season, if Thibs is "content to sit out 2015-16 season"? WRITTEN BY KYLE THELE POSTED: 12/03/2015, 05:51PM Tom Thibodeau could be working with two more superstars in Houston Former Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau seems content to sit out the 2015-16 season, but when he does return to coaching he’s likely to have plenty of options. One of those choices could have him working with two more superstars on a team ready to chase a championship. Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix said the Houston Rockets should make an all-out push to bring Thibodeau in by the start of next season. Yes, there will be questions about how Thibs’ style fits with James Harden and Dwight Howard. But the Rockets have been flat-out bad defensively in two of the last three years, and Thibs is the best defensive mind on the market. There’s history there (Thibodeau was an assistant under Jeff Van Gundy from 2003 to 2007, and Van Gundy and GM Daryl Morey didn’t end well) but the Rockets badly need to revamp the system to have any hope of competing with the upper echelon teams in the west over the next few years. Earlier this season Kevin McHale was fired as the Rockets head coach after just 11 games. McHale had been the rockets head coach for a little over four seasons at that point. Thibodeau who took over one season before McHale, had the Bulls as one of the best defensive units in the NBA. http://chicago.suntimes.com/basketball/7/71/1151653/tom-thibodeau-working-two-superstars-houston
Pretty ironic, huh? It's all good, though. Who cares? It's an internet forum. We're all friends here! (unless you don't like the Rockets)
I already said I liked what I saw the first 10 games, but lately the decision not to play your second best scorer, playing Brewer while he's totally lost and not calling timeouts when needed is making it really difficult to defend JB We did lose 3-4 games because of stupidity, and I am willing to close my eyes there, but there were games where you just shouldn't lose with this roster, no matter what. Still, I am willing to go through the season with JB, he got into it middle of the season and bringing in someone else now wouldn't make sense. Time is ticking...
Again, when you keep blaming the coaches, the root of the problem is the players. Coaches can only do so much. Players play, and players win games.
So, you want to trade every player or some of them? Everything has to come from the coach first, you can not trade Harden, or Howard, the coach has to work with your players first.
Yep. Its pretty simple and people are wasting their breath talking about Les, Morey, and the coaches. I'll go further and say it isn't the role players either.
Eh...why is it one or the other? There are noticeable problems with both the coaches and the players.
Bickerstaff did not lose that game last night I think he could have made some tweaks to win it. . . . . Can someone . . anyone . .. . teach these MFers how to throw a d*mn alley oop I swear I saw at least 5 off target alleyoops in the second half EASY points then again . . ATL being able to grab one of howard's arms and hold him down did not help Rocket River
Having Dwight Howard guarding Holford at the top of the 3pt line was a major coaching Gaffe as he drained 3 after 3 with Howard staying in the paint. Having your bigs switch every pick and roll exposing them to having to guard penetrators collapsing the defense and giving wide open looks to their 3pt shooters was a major mistake. Putting Corey Brewer in the game is a major mistake. Leaving Thornton on the bench because he shoots too much - even though he is a SG, and that is his job, is a major mistake. JBB is not impressive so far. DD
