Good move. Now are you going to be able to study, or is your mind still wandering? Really happy for Felix. He has really played well so far this season, and we need his 3 point shooting to open up the offense.
Guard play is the most important aspect of college basketball. If you don't have good guards, your ceiling as a team is not high (e.g. Barnes' teams). Kerwin Roach and especially Eric Davis Jr. have shown their potential early in this season. With Felix playing well and Taylor still working on figuring out who he is, you can't help but think this team is heading in the right direction. Ridley struggled a little at times against very good big men in Johnson and Meeks, but he is still a force inside. I'm looking forward to being at a lot more games and seeing the Erwin Center packed all season.
Taylor lit it up last night. Dude was beasting. Ball movement was decent and we finally have a way to break open the 2-3 zone. This should be a fun year if the last two games are any indication. It cracked me up when the announcer called us a bubble team just like Stanford. I kept thinking that we do not in any way look like a bubble team right now.
Taylor didn't let us keep that sinking feeling for very long. Good on Shaka for not calling a timeout.
Big win tonight for the Horns on the road against #6 WVU. Got Kansas coming up on Satuday at Allen Fieldhouse which will be really tough.
Yep, huge win especially without Ridley. Going to be very tough at the Phog. At least we stole one at WVU though.
what yall think about Kansas being favored by 12? seems absurdly high to me with the way texas has been playing. yes i plan on taking Texas and am gambling. but appreciate any insight by non gamblers.
Shooting and defense have improved, and I don't think a Shaka-coached team will just lay down. However, Texas has struggled in pretty much every road game this season. I'm not sure how Texas will do at the toughest road environment in the country.
