Not being pessimistic, just realistic here but IF we keep this system, J.B. does not deliver on his word to play guys who are about winning, continues to be loyal to bad players, does not utilise Howard properly and finally Harden does not commit, we will never win anything. Once you let this sink in, you will just not care that much about a win or a loss as much. It makes your life much better, trust me.
When you finally give up and quit being emotional, the games are great comedy. Harden just throwing it to a defender, or dribbling it to 2 seconds while the teammates just stand around bored. Funny stuff. Man last game the final play was a knee slapper. Passing it to Dwight at the 3 point line with 1.2 seconds left. That was gold.

You guys are being quite dramatic about it. As bad as the Rockets are I'm pretty sure Spurs fans or OKC fans would not be so happy to welcome a first round match up against the Rockets. The Rockets are a .500 under achieving team, not the 6ers.
Don't even really watch the games anymore - I just leave a site up where I can follow the score from a lead to a deficit (most of the time) Games are too sloppy and get me really angry when I do watch them
Can't do it, OP, although I can't slam you for the post. We're still the team that went to the WC Finals last season, and yes, that probably sounds like a badly broken record, but we play like that team from time to time. The Spurs game is a good example. I still expect the Rockets, if they can finally come together as a team, rediscover how to play the way we played that got us past some good teams in 2014/15, and do it on a consistent basis, to not only make the playoffs, but play well when we get there. It's far from too late for that to happen, with luck keeping the team healthy. We were on top of the world after the Spurs win. I haven't noticed the world ending after a loss against a team we should have beaten the next night. Same team, same players against SA. The potential is still there. I can't relax and I can't quit on them. It's up to them not to quit on themselves, and the coaching staff has to ensure that happens, soonest. We can still turn this disappointing season around.
Thats while wise its very hard to achieve. We are fans. The identity of a fan is based on hope emotion passion and dream. There is very little dangerous distance between always keep low expectations and apathy.
I have given up on this year. Bad losses don't hurt me none no more. I just would feel dumb caring so much about these games when the players themselves don't even seem to care that much.
That is what I am doing this year. I prefer to watch some games in ESPN or TNT, so I do not care who is going to win or lose. I knew this team was not going to win big at any time soon with a bad coach, so I did not upgrade my directV sport program also, so I do not need to waste my money too. My action just fits your thread title.
