- Thornton still won't get minutes somehow

- D-Mo still gets less than 10 minutes somehow

- KJ is sent back to the D-League somehow

- Brewer continues getting major minutes even though he plays like he wouldn't deserve a roster spot in the Australian league somehow.

EDIT: it's time for people to hop off the p'n'r crusade. It isn't happening. Dwight is clearly against it. Even though that is ridiculous since it's basically his only source of points. But it is what it is. Selfish gonna selfish.

 

Harden is a stat padder that pisses off his teammates...

 

I don't like hero ball as much as the next guy, but what is Harden supposed to do with a line up at times that consists of...

PG - Bev
SG - Harden
SF - Brewer
PF - Jones
C - Capela/Howard.

There are absolutely no creators in that line up. When you're the only person that is capable of creating your own shot...it's tough. He does look for his shot first, as he should, but don't act like he doesn't pass at all. He averages 7 assists a game.

- Harden needs to get his play making going early on in the shot clock
- Lawson needs to understand he has the green light, and doesn't have to defer to Harden on offense every single play when they are in together.
- D-Mo needs about 10 more touches in the post.

As for Howard...it's just a joke. You can tell he gets extremely disinterested in the game if he's not touching the ball, but he needs to realize he has no post up game. He has to accept the DeAndre Jordan/Tyson Chandler (As someone else mentioned) role. Set solid picks, get alley oops, and rebound. Stop trying to double team down in the post because it leaves absolutely no one under the rim to rebound.

 

Drive to that basket score or get a foul or pass off to a team mate open. Standing at 3 point line wasting 21 seconds is not working.

 

I actually think he's talking about Howard. He to me looks really bad on defense especially in pick and roll and makes some of the dumbest plays I have ever seen for a person that's played in the NBA for over 10 seasons. How can you make the same mistakes over and over and over? If Hakeem Olajuwon and Kevin McHale cannot make you a better and smarter player; to me that's Dwight Howard disrespecting the game of basketball. He recently said he wants to play until he's 40. Why would you say that when you are not even playing at 30? I think it's time to think of Clint Capela as the starting center for the Houston Rockets next year.

Harden has his flaws for sure, but he tries to win games and make plays that he feels will help that happen even if the results are not very good. Howard was not even trying to block layups by Norris Cole and Jrue Holiday, Clark Kent would have at least tried to take charge.

I don't see how Bev could be a part of that list. He gives it all, and only shoots 3's unless it's another play where Harden dribbles the ball for 20 seconds, then passes it to a contested Beverley.

You can't even put together a coherent argument. All you can do is whine that I am a homer and don't share your bull**** lets all pile on Harden narrative, just because the reality is what you want them to be. Stats are stats. They are what they are and just because you have no idea how to properly use them, isn't really my issue, it's yours. I am fully aware of Harden s deficiencies. I recognize the last second dump offs, I see the easy backdoor cuts by opposing players. And lol at my "handpicked" stats, when you are the one who came in here trying to use A / TO ratio, an archaic stat which long ago became irrelevant with the advent of more advanced statistics.

You simply have no grasp on what is lacking with our team performance. Our offense was excellent last night. And yet you guys come out saying Harden is a ballhog and try to blame the loss on everything that happened in the last five possessions.

 

Exactly. What do people expect when the rotations are not good to end the game? When no one else can create their own shot and the coach doesn't run any plays you are left with Harden isoing to win the game. This is on JB for not having the right personnel in the game when needed. Dmo and/or Thornton should have been in the game down the stretch to have other options besides just Harden.

 

This season has been such a disappointment.

 

Pass the ball and play team ball and not hold the ball with less than 5 secs left on the shot clock...

You are spot on to me...... Howard is a faker.... Real people can see straight though him. Howard is out there doing what he does best and that's making sure no dislikes him or blames him.....

Truth is is that Howard has one the lowest BBIQs I've ever seen in a player of his abilities..... And it's becoming more and more obvious as he ages.... He's always a step too slow on every play and that shouldn't be the case with someone who has played at that level for that long.... He has very obvious lazy habits.... He never sets good picks for Harden, he has terrible timing on block shots, and yesterday I saw a couple of defensive plays where he wasn't even watching the ball.. Just staring and Asik with his back the ball.... That's terrible defense for a big.... Our perimeter players get a lot of flak for defense but as a perimeter defender you job is to funnel and cover and let the shot blocker handle the rest... Deke, Hakeem, Yao heck even kelvin Cato would feast with this group of defenders the rockets have.....

Right now Clint and Dwight have about the iq right now and that is a shame. Clints may even be slightly better....

 

How do you guys add Marcus to that list when he barely gets playing time...
