Rebounds count ZERO for the score, there are NO rebounds when you score the basketball.

It's pretty clear, start Dmo with Howard, no need to worry about Rebounding. Run PnR with Harden and Dmo. Dmo can play make from the 4 position. Lawson can run the 2nd unit with Capela and Jones and Thornton. That should be the end of the rotation. Terry for spot minutes on occasion. Overlap Lawson with Harden if more O is needed.

So you are saying we should shoot 100% from the field?

Or how will we even score if we can't get defensive rebounds?

Rebounding is a huge part of the game.

We have rebounders, you need to have people next to them that can score.

Dmo and Howard, a rebounder and a scorer.

    We have no contrast ATM.

BTW = The pelicans took the lead with 2:18 left in the 4th - no one scored another point.

Huh? What about defensive rebounding? Second chance points by our opponents? Another huge problem is rim protection. When Dwight goes for the block or to cover a guard based on our poor perimeter defence, we improved greatly since Clint was able to guard the rim and/or rebound. D-Mo couldn't even box out Ryan Anderson (or anyone else) on multiple occasions.

Well we can certainly agree on Dmo playing more.

Dmo should be playing MUCH more. I really don't understand why it's so hard to play him more and post him up more but whatever I guess. How this team rolls.

Pelicans also have been underachieving, they got AD and still got a group of former borderline allstar type of players

I think every possession after that was the same, Harden iso ball, unwilling to at least play pick and roll with Dwight.

TBH I haven't seen any other team do this ever. The game is on the line and you keep doing the same thing that hasn't been working. Even the one three that Harden made in an iso situation was a bad shot, you can't disagree with that. Contested threes are bad shots you'll make 2 out of 10 maybe, that's not a winning percentage. Sure you look like a hero when you make one or two in a row even, you might even win some games with that ****, but in the long run you're losing badly.

They are a truly terrible team.

    This loss is disturbing.

This is not all on Harden. This is Harden's team, and Morey have had plenty of time to put the right type of players around him. This team needed a shake up the first month of the season, and Morey have not done anything to date. Plus, it is evident that BJ can't coach. Harden played pick and roll with the Howard in the lost against Orlando on the last shot, and Howard failed the catch the pass, and Harden was blamed for not taking the shot. In the win against San Antonio, Harden made two big 3 point shots that help seal the win, and in last nights game, he gets blamed for taking a few threes trying to help win the game, and now its all his fault that the Rockets lost. Get the man some help, and/or somebody that can shoot the ball, and stop blaming him for everything. It's mainly because of Harden that the team has 16 wins. Howard is out of position a lot the last few games and does not play very hard much, and Marcus, Ty, and DMo needs to play more, and find their rhythm together. BJ is all over the place coaching! We better hope that Harden does not ask for a trade. You won't miss your water until the well runs dry. Harden is just 26 years old and still finding his way. Great leadership comes from a good coach and gm that players respect. We don't have that right now!

It would be great! But JB better get together an offense that fits this group ,which he can do if allowed, or he is toast. If he can get effort from Harden first his job may get easier. It's a messy situation but I can think of a few ways to right the ship. I'm confident, without a significant trade, a coach if not our coach can fix this mess.

Do you think the coach called the two iso's in the Spurs game that helped seal the win? Neither did he complain about, nor did we. Harden has been known to take big shots, and make big shots near the end of a game. Do you remember a game against I think the Kings when Harden penetrated and gave up the ball to Terry in the corner, and he missed a wide open shot for win. Harden is just trying to win. A lot of Houston's players are not high basketball I-Q players. Very seldom do the players swing the ball to get the best shot, especially Ariza. Again, its more about coaching and other players not making plays more so than Harden playing iso ball!

Besides, yes Harden too all of the shots to end the game. They were not all off of Harden ISOs.

One was off a broken play between a pick of Ty/Dwight and one was off a rebound and was a wide open 3.

What did not happen was that Harden just walked it up the court and chucked up 3s.
