Pretty much. This team NEEDS Lawson to be Denver Lawson. He's looked like that the past game and a half.

Please coach play off this. Try to build his confidence and show that if he plays better he'll get his starting role back or at least starting mins.

Leonard going to get all the credit for shutting Harden down , but Green has been the primary defender.

Our SF's are killing us .

When jones plays aggressive he can look good , but he also makes boneheaded plays and is a black hole once he gets the ball near the paint .

James will always bounce back and so I'm not worried about his half . Capela looks ok but he isn't there mentally yet .

and he's gotten by both of them with his first step alone, not even needing to crossover. problem has been the sperms helpside D camping in the paint

Yeah, i'm not sure what people are watching. Harden is getting past those guys, Spurs collapse and Harden passes out for a open shot. Which is usually Bev or Ariza and there is the problem.

Maybe if he was passing out to Thornton or Ty we'd be doing much better...

I noticed the team played more uptempo and moved the ball more with Lawson in.

Still waiting for Harden to snap out of it

This will be a good game to showcase Ty for trade, JBB takes note.

bev and capela to the bench

why are we wasting time with a starting lineup with such a low ceiling?

    lawson
    harden
    ariza
    dmo
    howard

    reserves:
    bev
    thornton
    brewer/kj(minimal minutes 8pg max)
    tjones
    capela

Ackerman: Rockets have lost EVERY game this year where they haven't scored 100 points.

Wish we had the depth the Spurs have, their roster is ridiculous

His teamates have to convert and also the dwight Capela tandem is just not going to work longterm. There both way to similar on offense that it limits harden from finishing around the paint.

JH is doing whatever he wants but there also Forcing him into tough shots because of the clogged paint.

Lol, we have the most bipolar fans in the League. When Harden is solely a playmaker then our fans claim he's passive & probably spent the night out partying. When he's aggressive & looking for his shot then he's selfish and only playing for numbers.

    Which is it?

Rockets moving the ball well enough to get looks inside. Missing them. They are 10 of 26 in the paint, have zero fast break points.

    Ha, it's pretty simple though.

Teams collapse the paint on the Rockets. If Bev and Ariza were hot, then fine. Play them. they provide defense and if their shots hit like they will once per game a week, keep them in.

If not though...you have Lawson, Terry, Thornton who are all more offensively inclined than Bev-Ariza. I mean it's even hard to imagine Terry going 0-6 even at his age. I get that these guys can be problems on defense...but when you are in a drought maybe you should try to get some momentum and energy flowing through offense?
