    I'm just curious what he could have possibly done to deserve this....I mean suspend him if he did something detrimental to the team. But just freeze him out????

    maybe a defensive adjustment? he and terry aren't good defenders, so he went with terry cuz of experience. but thornton wont be any worse on d, and he can do more on offense than terry. so that doesnt make sense.

    or showcasing players for trades.

    It makes absolutely no sense. Thornton is our best shooter and second best pure scorer. His defense is no worse than Terry, Harden or Brewers. He actually hustles harden than all of the above. Guess he will have to wait until Brewer is traded for regular rotation time. Brewer is predictably reckless. I like what JB was doing initially with trying out different guys and going with the hot hand. However, not playing Marcus Thornton is malpractice.

    There's lots of players in the nba w**** are just "filler". Don't get me wrong they're still 99% better than all basketball players on the planet, but in the nba there's minimal correlation to winning. They're the opposite of Shane Battier or Draymond Green types.

    Thats Thorton most of the time.

    Who care if he plays or not if the rockets are winning.
