Not interested to watch it, but I thought it was interesting that Netflix decided to put it on Youtube. I wonder what the business case was there.
Just finished it. Wow. Feel so angry and dirty. I would recommend people watch it. It will mess with what you think about our law enforcement and judicial system.
Youtube has eyeballs and ads, so that's immediate additional revenue; rather than trying to allocate periodic subscriptions to each of their streaming products.
This reminded me of the Lenell Geter story. People just don't realize what lengths the police and judicial system will go through to keep from overturning a prosecution even a bad one.
I realized the other day even though I have been subscribed to netflix instant streaming from almost the beginning, I watch youtube way more. Which is free.
Fascinating watch. Highly recommend. If you're a fan at all of Dateline, you absolutely must watch Making a Murderer.
I liked it overall, but definitely felt like the producers/directors had an agenda to be anti-police from the get-go.
Being against the actions of Sheriff's Office of Manitowoc County isn't anti-police. Besides, the evidence did the talking.
Thanks OP. Watched 3 episodes last night and I can't wait to get home to finish. Fantastic find. Will rep when I'm not on my phone
Thanks for this as well! Girlfriend and I are halfway through and all she wants to do for Christmas is finish it. The documentary definitely gets to you though. Some parts are just so unbelievably difficult to watch, especially the investigator interviews with the minors. Rough.
Watching more of this. Halfway through episode four. I've never felt my blood boil during a television show, until now. This is absurd. I've seen basically exactly what's happened before it happened. I hope it ends well, because I'm angry.
