If he is the x factor, Terrence Jones currently looks like about 10x.

 

Yeah Jones has a game like this every once in a while just to make it worse the rest of the time when he does nothing.

If Jones somehow manages to play like he did tonight over the course of a season, he'd be almost as good as some of his fans think he is already. Personally, I'm pulling for him, if he does well, the Rockets do well.

I love that we have both him and Jones on this team. We're solid at the PF position when they're healthy.

 

Jones has had more solid games than bad games. Every player has bad games anyways, well except your glorious hero. hahaha

All I know is Dmo held the fort while Howard was out for half the season, and Jones out for 2/3 of the season.

The team were winning games with Black/Motiejunas and Dorsey/Motiejunas.

Team defense were in the middle of the pack. They did better than we expected them to.

When McHale was rolling out those front lines, everybody was crying about how the team is going to be the worst defensive team in the league. Well, they proved us wrong.

This year however.........

 

I'm already annoyed because I feel like once dmo is fully healthy bickerstaff isn't going to utilize him properly

 

I liked the play where we gave DMo the ball at the top and he tossed it in deep to Howard for an easy layup.
It looked effortless since they are taller than everyone else on the floor.
Would like to see that used more.

 

Jones' play last night just goes to show how wildly inconsistent he actually is. He was the man last night -- But I just wish that he'd bring that level of intensity, awareness, and effort every night.

This team would be tough to beat if he did.

Still Silence when it comes to an actual argument about DMO's "great" defence.

I wouldn't worry about that so much. By the time DMO is healthy who knows who is left in this roster, but he will be the starting PF. We already have seen such improvement in ball movement and in trying to involve much more the bigs.
