I had a cousin who passed away last night. Unbelievable....this guy was a GREAT human being. Incredible family man, wonderful home life, great marriage, three wonderful children, great shape, non-smoker, rarely drinks, good genes (Dad still runs every day at 79 years of age), fifty years old........massive heart attack. I guess it's getting harder and harder to find good souls to take up to heaven.........that's all I can come up with. Anyway, I'm planning on travelling up to Mass. to go to the funeral, and some of you guys had posted some websites with really good bargains for hotels. I'm kind of looking for a specific hotel, so I don't know if one of the auction type places (like priceline) will work for me. I can't find that thread, so if you don't mind, could you refresh my memory on some of those sites? Thanks in advance.
Sorry for your loss. At least he is going to a good place rather than being down here w/ us. Try this thread from what I found: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60839 I'll keep looking around. But you can try priceline.com, hotwire.com, qixo.com, travelocity.com as a few.
Sorry for the loss , but always think of Seinfeld... GEORGE: It's in Detroit though, it's an expensive flight. KRAMER: Why don't you get a "death in the family" fare? GEORGE: What? KRAMER: You go to the airlines, you tell them you got a death in the family? They give you 50% off the fare. GEORGE: Really? KRAMER: In fact, listen...I'll go down there with ya. You know, we'll tell them there's a death in my family, you buy the ticket, I'll split it...then I'll get the bonus miles and you'll get to Detroit for a quarter of the price!
