Well I'd say that's a pretty good game. And nice 4 symmetry in the box score. Thank god for a day off!!! They NEED it to regroup and catch their breath.
Man, where was this circa 1998... . It seems like one good streak puts us in, let's hope it comes now and that Roy can stay healthy.
I think I will elaborate just a little more on what this dumb a$$ just said. With all of the misfortune this club has gone through, how can you possibly call them heartless? For example: 1. Astros lose their #1 starting pitcher for almost 2/3 of the season. 2. Their starting shortstop was shipped for reasons that I'm sure were all aware of. 3. Startig pitching takes another hit with their #2 guy (Wade Miller) who hasn't peformed up to par all season, and has spent time on the DL. 4. The Astros lose two of their most productive hitters for an extended part of the season, due to injuries. And for some of you that are not to in tune with what I'm talking about. Let's just say they are both in the hunt for team MVP. 5. You're an idiot
Due to the adversity the Astros have faced this season as you pointed out, it is quite surprising that they continue to battle for first place and the wild card. Reagardless of their record they do fluctuate between the 3rd-5th best record in the league. Consider also that they only have 1 player over .300 and only 1 more over .290. The only incorrect thing you posted is that Miller has spent time on the DL. He has made all of his starts
I agree and now's the time to do it. Stros are due. 3 against SD and 4 against Mil Going 6-1 heading into a home series with the Cards would be awesome. RoyO winning on Monday and again on Sat against the Cards. Time to break this thing open.
