I found this tidbit at inside hoops. It seem to say that Indiana is not going to trade these two. Of course it could all be mis-information... afterall we still have a long time till tip off.

"Walsh dismissed Internet reports regarding trades involving Artest and Harrington as the musings of people with too much time on their hands. "That's the thing about this," he said. "You can sit in a room somewhere and say 'trade this guy for that guy,' but you don't know the inner workings of a team. They don't know which one of these guys they're talking about is going to emerge into a star. And frankly, neither do we. "In my mind, you don't trade them unless you feel you know exactly where they are, and right now we just don't know."' Indianapolis Star

Assuming Walsh to be fairly knowledgable of the NBA and its workings, and applying his logic about not trading what you are not sure about to the Rockets, we have to stand pat and see how everybody does under the new regime. I can live with that.

Bird was quoted as saying he wanted to add chemistry/subtract bad chemistry.

    Walsh is Mr Denial.

When, and whom, does Indy swap (and for whom)?

At what time was that quote? Didn't they already subtract Isiah Thomas and Ron Mercer?

When he announced the bye-bye I -siah...he said that he was concerned about the chemistry on the team and Kravitz? or some other Indy beat writer along with possibly DA from ESPN talked about Harrington and/or Artest being on the block.

A coach or GM publicly denying that a player is on the trading block is usually a good indicator that said player is indeed on the trading block.
(I remember once Danny Ainge {then coach of Phoenix} said that Steve Nash {then backup point for Phoenix} was untouchable, just weeks before he was shipped to Dallas)
