That's stupid. That's like trading DeMarcus Cousins type stupid. Like trading a young Hakeem when he demanded a trade type stupid. Harden is too young and too skilled

I can never tell if you're being sarcastic or not. :p If you're not, I'd say April wasn't that long ago. He just finished dominating the best centers in the NBA in the playoffs. I think it's more he's just being lackadaisical, which sucks, but hey so is the rest of the team really. Everyone's at fault, not just Dwight.

Pay attention to that...because it would be too idiotic for them just to want a scorer off the bench, when they already have MC and aren't using him. My guess is, this is more about Brewer not getting it done and them wanting to replace him, among other things.

Just my opinion, but I think Harden probably leaves to be a Laker. He grew up there and plus the life style, celebrities, and night life all suit him better than Houston. He could be the next Kobe there.

Yeah, that's why I say it's gonna be a BOLD move. Harden is messing up the whole game plan, he's pissing off his teammates. And he doesn't care if he brings down the team with him. I bet he wants Dwight out. Or he wants out. Very scary and unprofessional.

I'll go back to this post the day we cut ties with him.

It's easy to point the finger at Dwight, but I watch pretty much every game that I'm not at school, and he isn't the problem. The guy is at the low post constantly wide open and we don't get him the ball. He defends well and rebounds, and our defense sucks, yeah getting rid of him wont help. We are just lazy at times, seriously that is what it boils down to.
Careless, stand around and watch. If the team shoots, we just look at the ball, when you are taught to put a damn body on someone and box out for the rebound, but we don't. we do it in spurts and guess what, we look great. At the start of the season it was our scoring, that has improved, now its just fundamental crap that we lack, and intensity. There's a solution, a new guy may help, but not sure the ones mentioned are the answer, and Dwight is not the problem.
I'd love to see an inside outside game, where Dwight is patient and doesn't rush the shot and goes hard or finds the open man if doubled, pick and roll just ain't working and I've made a thread on our offense and pick and roll already.

Dwight at least cares. He shows up in the playoffs. He just gets pissed off at lack of effort on defense and not giving him shots WHEN we are losing. When we win, he's happy even if he gets few attempts.

I am positive that heypartner was not sarcastic. I saw what he said at the time when we got Howard.

I was skeptical about Howard being our cornerstone too. I've been saying that what made most sense was to trade him for LMA when Portland was desperate about the rumor of LMA's non-commitment. That was before DMo developed into a nice player. I knew it wouldn't happen because that's just bad business trading a star player who just signed with you.

Yeah, I said that you have to sign him as a free agent if you can, because that is what money and free agency is for -- to buy assets flat out.

Once you own him, then you have a valuable piece to trade if it doesn't work. It's not working. And despite his efforts in the playoffs, that only makes since if you think we can make a splash in the playoffs this year. And we could say we faced perfect match-ups for Howard to succeed last year in Jordan and Dallas, and Lopez in POR the year before. And Lopez is embarrassing Dwight this year, so far.

This year, we are facing a #1 and #2 seed who routinely take centers out of the game, and #3 looks like OKC who has a stretch player in Ibaka to take Howard away from the basket, too.

We aren't doing anything this year, so forget the playoffs.

    Trade him

Thornton is great so far in rockets.

The head coach needs to give more time to Thornton on the court!!!

Look for scorer off the bench????

Why? JB does not give him playing time anyway. Thornton is a great example.
