What's in his future? This is his last year under contract and I am not positive he resigns with Houston. Mobley is the Starting SG. I don't think this is debatable. Anderson hasn't flourished at the three. I really expected him to be a much better scorer out of the three spot since he moves well without the ball and all eyes are on Cat and Steve. When he's on, the rockets win easiliy, but when he's off its like four on 5 on the offesive side of the ball. Mo is the rebounder we all knew him to be. Despite Mo's improvements in this area, he still needs more help than just what mobley and Francis provide. SA is a good rebounding 2, but an average to poor three. Hakeem's last season? I don't like SA's ballhandling. I do like that he takes only good shots and plays within himself, but I wish he would push his abilities to their limits. He hasn't reached his potential in my mind. I would enjoy seeing SA backup the three and the two, but is this what he wants? He would be the best sixth man in the NBA, but would never win it. I have no problem playing three guard if he would force the issue more on offense. His defense makes up for the rebounding loss. I don't want the rockets to lose a talented player through FA. Have a great end of the season Mr. Anderson and i hope you're back for many to come. ------------------ As the wise Ewok philosopher, Logray, once said, "yub yub"
I disagree with your statemnet about Anderson not flourishing at the three spot. When Cat first moved into the lineup he was playing great and it has only been in the last two games where he hasn't scored, and in those games he was passing great. However, I do agree that he won't sign because Mobley is the SG of the future for the Rocks. ------------------ "GiddyUP!!!" Krammer from Seinfeld
My starter now is SA. He's the best on the team now at the three. I'm hoping for an acquisition to fill the three, draft or trade....Reef would be fine. I fear that someone else will use him as an acquisition to fill a two. Something like Mike Miller for SA might be good for both teams. ------------------ As the wise Ewok philosopher, Logray, once said, "yub yub"
Shandon has been up and down at the 3. He started playing REALLY well there, but lately has slowed down. I personally don't mind him not putting up a consistent 15 a game, because we have 2 other guards that are averaging close to 20. Shandon shoots a high percentage, and doesn't turn the ball over much. Joe Joe-If Shandon's your backup 3, who's your starter? ------------------ The Serious Police are watching. Follow the rules or be assimilated. Shandon is underrated.
First of all, Shandon Anderson is very undersized for a small forward. The Rockets are also throwing away a great portion of his offensive game by moving him to the 3. The Rockets have never taken advantage of his ability to post up smaller guards, something Utah did with regularity. Now that he's been moved out of position, and seems unhappy, it appears likely to me that he will leave Houston. Its really too bad for him, because he'd have been much better off just staying in Utah. And if you think black people can't be happy in Utah, you should ask Donyell Marshall how he feels right now.

schwa is that you? Dont listen to what schwa says. He is jealous of shandon anderson. He thinks Utah is the best team, he doesnt like any other team. Schwaboy is a little mad that shandon left utah. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club. I love how, when thinking of black players in Utah, the first one that came to mind was Donyell Marshall. ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Homer Simpson
