Is Kevin even alive? He seems to die...goes into limbo land...and then comes back after doing some "act". It just feels like he is a lost soul and is not really even alive. It makes me question whether anyone is actually alive. They may think they are alive but are they? If I didn't know any better, then I would say Miracle is like the island in "Lost". It feels like the entire world is done but all these lost unclaimed souls exist on Earth but none of it is real. Kevin has a "special purpose" among them. He just doesn't know what it is yet. That's right...he's basically "the jerk". The earth quakes in the city remind me an awful lot of the time shifts on the island in "Lost" except their meaning is different, e.g. the woman in the wheelchair wakes up after one of them for an inexplicable reason. It just seems there's going to be a big reveal at the very end of the show...and it's going to be another disappointment.
I thought that clearly explained that he was hallucinating during his near-death experiences, as he had the same visions twice. Surely the recent one he wasn't dead.
He wasn't hallucinating. Also it wasn't near death....it was death. He even says it, "I died". Apart from all that you don't hallucinate when you are dead and when it is associated with some supernatural process occurring like being brought back to life magically it has some meaning.

You're not dead when you are hallucinating. I'm saying the gun shot "death," was clearly not death. He survived and was hallucinating about being dead.

Believe me when I tell you they are happy to have the money. They didn't make anything in the 90's. I love the show by the way. I think the trick is to "let the mystery be" and just ride the ride. I think the show is like a more sophisticated LOST and I loved LOST. The much maligned finale included. The whole thing. This show and Rectify are my favorite shows on TV right now.
Lol that is exactly what's going to happen, or not a comprehensive, satisfying ending. It is now just like the lost universe, yeah some of that taking a page right out of the lost script, magical isolated geography, healing earthquakes, nested alternate realities within realities, and characters back from the dead, will never be tied up in some mind blowing reveal, if you're not enjoying the ride. Like lost with better production value, writing, actors, and less cheese. I really liked it, but that's it? No more to be made?

Probably the most attention catching and memorable music I've ever seen on a TV show. After hearing it on the this show for the first time, I tracked down that Grease cover song and added it my relax playlist.
Yes he is, he's very aware of his reputation. I'm looking forward to season 3, especially after the big uptick in quality this last season.
You shouldn't watch shows like these for answers. They're not mysteries. You'd get a lot more out of it if you just took it for what it is. And if it's not your thing to watch a show that doesn't explain everything to you, watch something else. You're missing the actual point of the show which lies in the questions not the answers.
What the hell did I just watch? Forgive me, I didn't watch season 1; just watched a recap video. I watched season 2 because people keep tell me how good it is now. Nothing makes sense.
