When is Yao coming back from China?

    Will he be back in time for the preseason? I'm curious because I live in Sacramento and I'm going to the game between the Rox and Kings on 10/14.

    I heard he should be here by October 7. I dont think anybody really knows for sure. I'd say anywhere from October 7-12. I dont think he will miss the preseason game opner at Toyota Center Oct. 12.

    Thanks...Is it possible he might be too tired to play though, given all his recent work with the Chinese National Team? I suppose we'll have to wait and see. Also, is Malick Badiane going back to Senegal? I'd like to see this guy in action.

    Yao's final game (assuming they make the final) is on Oct 3.

    Anyone and everyone is free to specualte, at this point, when he'll arrive and how long till he'll be ready to play his first game, since we have no official word from the Rockets yet.

    Never. China is going to force him to stay behind after the CNT loses their tournament and fails to make the Olympics.
