Though really, any team's season is determined by post-season success, so technically, if we ended up even the 8th seed and then won it all haha, I'd say that would be a major success
Warrior locked at Number one. Spurs look pretty solid in second. I believe, Memphis, Houston, OKC, and Clippers will be battling all season for the top spots.
What the eff are you talking about. They were some of the most ******* teams before the modern Spurs era. Bowen with his tricks, Horry getting Amare kicked. They are generally humble though, which is what I respect from them.
We are three games from the no playoff too. What is a point? Too early to say anything right now, but like what I said, the LAC is most overrated team in NBA, followed by the rockets. Lots of people say the Spurs are too old, they have no idea to evaluate a team.
I think the rockets realistically can be 4-7. Gsw: easily 1 Spurs: solidly 2 Okc: shaky but I think they nail the 3 seed even if Donovan looks overmatched at times 4-7 will be some combo of rockets, clips, Grizz, mavs. The rockets have been better. Still have issues on defense. The clips are one big head case but there's too much talent. The grizzlies are always tough on D. The Mavs are good enough or rather they don't suck as bad as I thought they would. I think it will be rockets, clips, grizz, Mavs in that order but it wouldn't surprise me if any of these teams finished anywhere from 4-7. 8 will be probably Utah if they can weather the Gobert injury. NO put themselves in a big hole but they will make it interesting for the eighth seed and will probably get it if Utah falls apart. Every other west team either sucks or just doesn't have enough.
I don't know if they regressed so much as they inserted Kanter late last year and he is the antithesis of a rim protector. The defense is noticeably worse with him on the floor and unfortunately, he is just good enough offensively that OKC feels compelled to keep him out there. OKC, is just trying to outscore teams at this point similar to Golden State. As much as you could call this a chink in their armor, GS's defense hasn't been near as good this year statistically although part of that may be that they are blowing teams out by the 3rd Quarter leaving the scrubs to play the entire 4th.
happy for the win streak, and i've seen some positive things happening on the court. but this "x games from #3 seed" kinda mentality is both useless and probably harmful. just hope the players and coaching staff dont have it. fact #1: after we lost the season opener to denver, we were one game away from the #1 seed. fact #2: (heard it on tv the other day) the spurs are giving up 88pts on avg. this season. freaking 88pts. can we just let this sink in? since jbb took over, we have not played any real good teams. this team have a long ways to go.
