I have to say that I was quite pissed about them not showing the Rockets highlights. They had thirty minutes to show 4 games' worth of highlights, and the Rockets were excluded. Sure, I did watch the whole game, but I like to hear them talk about the Rockets now and then. 30 minutes, 4 highlights, and all we get is a raging discussion about Kenny's future rap career. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
Good to see Chuck is still looking after Houston. Maybe after hearing Chuck they'll give us a highlight or two! Chuck is classic though, if you listen, during the Kenny Smith interview with Jim Rome you could hear Chuck in the background saying "Jim Rome can kiss my ass!" He even had Rome laughing. He is just riot. I miss Chuck! ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . . [This message has been edited by RocksMillenium (edited February 09, 2001).]
Anyone else catch Barkley in The Jungle today? Rome was doing an interview with Kenny Smith and Smith handed the phone over to Barkley for a few minutes. Always good to hear The Chuckster. Old School ------------------ I voted YES!
Didn't hear him on Rome but I did catch him on TNT last night on the POst Game report. He seemed kinda miffed that the Houston v. Detroit game was a score only and not highlights. He was also making fun of Kenny Smith b/c he is going to be rapping on BET today and they showed a clip. Well you know Chuck had to make some snide comments about Kenny's rapping ability. Ernie Hudson asked what Kenny's rap name was and Chuckster replied "Milli Vanilli" CK ------------------ Quote of the year: "Look it's George Jefferson" Charles Barkley commenting on Nuggetts coach John Lucas.
He may be a riot, but he doesn't know musicals or history On Celebrity Jeopardy, the final answer was something like: "According to Jackie, JFK went to sleep to the soundtrack of this musical." Barkley's answer? "What is Cats?" ------------------
