Lol at people getting excited. This team has 0% chance at a tourney invite. They have played no one (SOS is at 298) and will be swept by the big boys (Cincy, SMU, UConn) in their conference. Pump the brakes and put together a real OOC schedule. Next year they might have a chance
5-1. Whoops. Anyone going to the LSU game this weekend? I'd like to see if Ben Simmons is the real deal.
If you're still waiting to watch the Texans-Patriots game tonight, UH Coogs vs. LSU Tigers is live on ESPN 2 right now.
These commentators are having orgasms calling Ben Simmons. He dribbles ball out of bounds and they say how amazing that was. Lol
not a big college basketball fan, but i started watching this in the 2nd half, good game for the coogs so far
Cougars finish it with a steal and slam by Pollard! 105 on LSU. Nicely done. Almost top 25. But a little more work to do. I think they are so offensively gifted they should make the tournament. Guy who were starting for us last year are coming off the bench scoring 20. This team is worth watching.
Honestly, I was not impressed with either team. LSU is not much without Simmons, but UH still struggled to stop them at the end of the game. UH has to pick up the intensity and finish through the end of games if they want to make the tournament.
Unfortunately have to agree with BB007. Poor free throw shooting and defense (especially on Hornsby at times) at the end of the game nearly cost the Coogs. I haven't been impressed with Sampson - his lack of emphasis on defense is frustrating.
glad those idiot lsu fans left the game mad. this cougar team gonna be so good. rob gray jr is the real deal.
I wasn't able to be there or watch. Official attendance number was 7,918, which is awesome. How many of that number were UH fans?
Same here. I enjoyed picking out the similarities between the Coogs and Rockets offense. Of course OT shouldn't have been necessary but it was nice seeing a college team execute in the extra period. Good win nonetheless.
