This just pisses me off. We waited for 2 years and we finally got a very talented point guard but the coaches want to go back with Beverley and Terry because of their inability to design new offensive sets.

When Rondo was in Dallas, Carlisle started Rondo every game. Even though it didn't work out but Carlisle tried his best to incorporate him into the offense. When JB took over he just completely gave up on Lawson.

Yeah, but that was because Jeremy Lin was his PG.

 Thornton will start with Bev, in that event. Lawson will be coming off the bench for awhile, as he gets more and more minutes assuming he performs well. He played fine on offense against Philly.

Why are you so angry to want someone hurt? You sound like a LOF.

Coach is playing Bev, because he, Capela and Ariza are playing with the most energy on defense. JB is trying to reward that. Quit backseat coaching on player management when our team sucks, right now.

I thought Lawson looked good the other night (and I don't just mean the threes). The only way he's going to integrate into the system is to get minutes, the ball in his hands, and he green light to create.

Those Isos help us win games routinely. Harden would be the number one option on all but about 5 teams (maybe). He just can't be the only player who can reliably create his own shot. Lawson and hopefully DMO can help with that. Thornton can do it a little too which is a pleasant surprise.

The obvious solution is to trade Lawson for Lin and then trade Jones for Novak. (and some fillers to make the contracts work) :p

Thing is if we actually had a system to take advantage of Lawson's talents he'd be playing much better.

Idk who's to blame more, the coaching staff for not putting the ball in his hands, or Lawson for being too scared to be aggressive. smh what a colossal failure on all parts.

Tbh, we are NOT, nor do we have a chance at winning a championship if we trade Ty Lawson. James Harden needs to want to play off the ball.

What a joke of an organization this is becoming... They go after Ty Lawson because their "lead" superstar excused his own poor performance in the playoffs with the ridiculous turnovers as being a byproduct of the burden of being the sole ball handler on the team... As soon as the season starts Harden's signaling for the ball before Ty can even step foot one across the mid-court line... and now that it's not working out (as I'm sure a few of us knew it wouldn't because the stench emanating off Harden's BS is palpable)rather than address the elephant in the room... they're ready to go back to what wasn't working before...?

yeah unless they somehow acquire another legit ballhander/creator to replace lawson, the front offense is essentially chasing it's own tail in circles here
