How about if we trade Griffin, Taylor, and maybe throw in Cato or Mobley to Detroit for the motor city mad man Ben Wallace? You would lose a little depth but you would gain a rebounder and a weak side enforcer, both of which we are seriously lacking.
I tell ya, that's a quality first post right there. Next up, thread #75 on Yao Ming's circulatory problems... ...and people wonder why new posters get razzed so much...
LOL....Look man, these Senior members will eat you alive if your opinions are questionable or lacking common sense. Word of advise..............don't post dumb **** !
i would ask why the rockets would do this? it would totally deplete our already thin frontcourt, especially if it was cato instead of cat. we would loose alot of points. ben wallace is a one dimensional player. granted, he plays that one dimension pretty well, but we would need someone to pick up the slack if we gave away those scorers.
Basically we lose... We get a someone who cant score... And the salaries... hmm try to get them right... *Sigh*
I don't know if Ben Wallace is a good compliment to Yao. Yao would be HEAVILY double teamed on offense, and other etams wouldn't have to worry AT ALL about covering Ben Wallace. Even Cato can put Wallace's offensive game to shame. I prefer someone SLIGHTLY more capable on offense, someone like Brian grant, Carlos Boozer, Elton Brand would be SUPER, even PJ Brown. I'd love to have someone tough playing inside with Yao, but not with the offensive defficiencies of Ben Wallace. Besides, this trade doesn't match salaries, would leave us with lots of roster spots to fill, and makes us too thin in the backcourt.
you know, i'm glad i haven't been ripped yet. aw crap. you guys are going to do it to spite me aren't you?
hey yeah, i think it would work! thats rather creative and intelligent. Thanks for posting (I like making people happy, especially kids )
