Yeah, that's what I've been noticing. He used to seem lost and confused before, but he really seems to know what is going on at any time. The throw on 3rd down and the throw on the penalty stand out in my mind today. I also remember him throwing away a pass early in preseason and not trying to make something out of nothing which would have meant something for someone in sometime or something. edit: BTW, I like those screens he does. He always looks weird so when he does the pump fake and looks lost, the defense probably thinks that he really is lost.
52-13 - final Great game! I can only pray this carries over to the first game cause we are rolling currently. lol
Since this is a football thread, I've got to plug the ClutchCity.net NFL Pick'Em game on Yahoo. Posting in the Fantasy Sports Forum doesn't seem to work very well. For those who don't know the game, it's simply lets you predict the winners of every NFL game each week and then tallies how many games you chose right. I've set up the league to play against the spread. So far we have eight participants. If you want to play just go here: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem . It may prompt you for your Yahoo Login. Then just click "Sign Up Now." To join the ClutchCity Group, the ID is 25971 and the password is fomfotable. Thanks.
Just a little recap I'll do for right now. Glad to see that our offense can do some things, even if it is against some 2nd stringers and some starters who aren't quite playing like they should be. QC seems to be surprising me every week. I believe it is now 3 straight weeks without a TO, though he almost had one in this game. Not only that, but he had like 20 yard completion avg, or whatever you call it. Almost made me look stupid by throwing for 300. Running game also looked good, especially LA's blocking and Hambrick's ability to make some guys miss. Just hope we can carry at least some of today into the 1st game.
I was at the game last night. It was great fun being among an actually cheering Texas Stadium crowd. Don't have a digital camera, so I'll get some pics up after they get back from developing. It sure was hot in there though! Must have been 90 degrees in section 35 (endzone seats). It was well worth the $20 I spent on eBay to go. And the first quarter scoring was all right in front of us! Sure hope the pics turn out...
