It's 40C (90F) here in Australia, my air con broke, I chose to not go to the beach to watch my team...how disappointing.

How the hell do you not make a basket until there is 2 minutes left in the qtr?

Why do you stop going to Dwight?

Why does Harden only get 2 shots in the 4th qtr???

Why is Brewer still getting mega minutes?

Where is this star point guard that we traded for?

T.J....?!?!?!?!?

Small ball, High post hand off with Dwight...The officiating still sucks...quick 3 after quick 3???

We need a knock down shooter & some size...please Morey, make it happen.

 

Do people still think Harden is the problem? Smh. Harden is a legitimate top 5 player in the league, and was the equal best in the league last season. This dude can absolutely take us to the promised land, but you need to get a team around him. A team that can win and shoot, hustle and ride on his wings. Outside of Harden, we are a sorry joke.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but I would trade Ariza. I thought he was overrated last season, and he has been absolutely abysmal this season. He can't shoot. He can't dribble. He is prone to boneheaded turnovers. He and brewer are the guys I trade. This will also be an unpopular take, but we sorely miss Parsons in games like these (on the offensive end).

I am still confident we can sneak into the playoffs as many teams from the west have started poorly, but it's time to blow this team up. Let Dwight walk or hell, trade him as well. I like Dwight but it's just not "there". It's time to turn the page over and start again.

Obviously Durant is the obvious choice in FA, but I would love to sign Horford too and trade Brewer for a Jarret Jack type. Lawson will be gone. Let's also try and bring Smoove back.

Something like this for next season:

Jack/Bev
Harden/Temple
Durant/McDaniels
Horford/DMO/Smoove
Capela/Smoove

^ That team can win.

 

The only thing worse than the way the players are playing this season are MOF's. I swear there are people who love Mchale more than this team and he's been fired over a week ago, lol.

At least was our defence any better? We should have worked on that all the off days smth that CAN be improved through hard work than having to sacrifice a chicken for Brew to find a shot.

 

Can someone explain to me how poorly Ty did in his 2 mins of play? I mean 2??

Have they just given up on him all together?

Man, **** this team, you guys should see if you can get a refund for your season tickets or league pass, lol... Well I guess at least you get to watch other teams walk all over the Rockets...

I would trade tjones, brew, bev, and ariza. Those 4 guys would be good trade baits.

 

Minus Brewer on Lee the defense was much better. If we could make shots it would have improved the D a lot as well

I am dumbfounded at the 4th quarter play tonight...

I'm about to go out & kick a kangaroo or punch a koala...BUT IT's TOO DAMN HOT!!!

It's James Hardens fault we are 5-10.

 

Around the 4-5 minute mark of the second quarter, both offensively and defensively looked good. The team ACTUALLY took a 2pts lead.

Then defensive collapse left and right. Back door cuts. Horrible transition defense.

 

The bottom line is that this team needs other contributors besides Harden, so it won't matter if they make a trade, they better trade for players that will work with the system we have in place. Or we would have to just play Spurs type ball.

 

The defense honestly wasn't much better. Couldn't get stops when we needed to. Harden gave good effort on D though. Brewer was absolutely torched by Courtney Lee and JB did nothing about it. I think Lee scored like 80% of memphis points in the last quarter, Brewer can't defend a lamp post.
