    By the way, I take back what I said earlier about playing down to the competition.

    You're off the hook OP. There was no jinx thread here.

    Just a dramatic miscalculation of how good the Rockets were supposed to be this season. We could have been contenders, instead of bums, which is what we are, let's face it.

    Man, this is such a sad thread to re-read from the beginning. We were all so naive back then . . . so young . . . so . . . so optimistic!

    now it's all just scattered "I've grown to hate" threads and calls for reducing Harden's minutes so that he can devote himself to defense.

    oh, how I long for the halcyon days of the first week of November, when the season was full of promise, we were 4 and 3, and everything seemed possible.
