I don't want Morey fired. We built a contender without ever tanking and this is damn near impossible to do. We need a nice winning streak to calm Les down and let Morey, JB, and the players get their grove back. The players got to step up and make it happen.

Morey is the main culprit in all of this. He created this entire situation, you have a lame duck coach who is coaching on moreys behalf and the players have common sense and knows mchale is moreys little b****. Why would anyone want to respect and listen that guy? morey has never played the game of basketball, a super nerd that thinks he knows whats best. He has knowledge on how to study decimals but its a whole other animal being out there in the trenches game in, game out, practice after practice. He aspires to be the superstar gm and it's backfiring on him, predictably so and Les rightfully so has seen enough. everyone is panicking as if there isn't life after Morey as if we've been winning championships since his arrival in Houston. it's a joke, does anyone know the name of the Warriors gm? the miami heat gm? spurs gm? NO, there's a plethora of other guys that can more than fill in the shoes of Morey, just have a great interview process and you can find your guy, just like Les discovered Morey.

You talking about me? I am not defending Morey. Just want to point out that Les is as blame-worthy as Morey on this. He's just the boss so he can fire people because he is not going to fire himself. While I constantly criticize Morey's philosophy, I am 100% sure that lots of teams would salivate to have him.
That's Bickerstaff's job. It's time for Morey to stop crossing the line and let the Coach do his job.
Sorry haters. Morey is not going anywhere. Les is smarter than that. If anything if this season turns out to be a big failure maybe we'll finally get the chance to see what Morey can do with a complete teardown. It will be interesting to see what he can do with high draft choices for once.
The irony of this team and Morey being its GM is if you look at how it's currently put together, you wouldn't expect an analytically savvy guy to be running this roster. Once Morey struck out (once again) on Bosh and let Parsons/Lin go as a result, it seemed he kinda dumped the analytics thing and just signed any decent role player available. There's nothing analytically friendly about acquiring Brewer and Josh Smith but he did it anyway.
