I have to believe the people of the world are better than that.

 

Would you have believed we would still be at war nearly 15 years after 9/11?

Would you have believed that now more countries are being attacked and the threat is greater than ever?

What about all the young people born into all this blood shed that are not yet old enough to be terrorists?

In a very short period of time to have otherwise rational people calling for the end of Islam.

It is possible. Imagine another 9/11 or attack during the Super Bowl... What would the response be?

And as I said before, I would hope the world is better than that.

Yeah Trump is scary, unless you were talking about the Syrians. Don't know why they would be. Just two middle class families trying to claim asylum and escape their war torn country. It is not like they used some underground railroad. They turned themselves in at Laredo.

 

well obviously not an expert but I doubt Germany passes such a law to imprison people without any trial. Belgium is a little different society.

Also I want to see how Hollande plans to actually do what he says about more checks at the eu borders. When there are 3k refugees every single week washed up in small islands how are they planning to do it. In some areas the refugees are more than the population not to mention police and naval officers.
It will be interesting to see what they propose to do.

Also sooo ironic from Poland to refuse refugees when every other immigrant in the UK is polish - who had gone there illegally before in most cases.. When they got in the EU they were happy so they could come and work legally but when it's time to share the burden no.

I personally fear in the end most of the refugees will be trapped here and then we will hear voices about more brutal measures being taken.

I was hearing some french tv and they said that ISIS wants the europeans to hate the Syrians and not take them in because they want to pass the propaganda it's us the Muslims against the world and they were infuriated when the Syrians left en masse for europe and were accepted to come in. And they speculated that this was the reason the one terrorist was carrying on purpose a (fake)syrian passport.
