    The Rockets like hiring big names. If no big names are interested, then I think Bickerstaff may end up with the job. I think many consider Bickerstaff one of the top assistants in the league. Also, we know that the Rockets are high on Finch. I just wonder if they would give the job to finch over Bickerstaff?

    I remember I was shocked when Rudy got the job. Rudy wasn't the top assistant.

    Please no. Not another players coach we put in charge in order to recruit free agents. I love Scottie Brooks and he's a superior coach to McHale, but we need to polar opposite of what we've had for 4 years. Thibs will bring structure and discipline to this group.

    I could see Bickerstaff being a head coach, but maybe on a like a Timberwolves or 76ers team - not the Rockets. Not a long-term option for the Rockets.

    Unless Morey has a guarantee that Durant is coming here next year to play for Brooks, that would be a crazy hire. Morey's job is on the line here too. McHale's gone. You can't blame the coach anymore. So if the next guy they bring in does just as poor of a job, not only will he be fired, but Morey will be gone along with him.

    Morey better think long and hard about this. Scottie Brooks is a good coach, and certainly better than McHale. He has a prior working relationship with Harden. And obviously he has a history with the franchise and was beloved by fans when he was here. But is he the right fit for this particular team at this particular time? I don't think so.
