What can Anonymous actually accomplish? Outside of releasing the ID's of ISIS supporters and shutting down ISIS propaganda accounts.

Not much, this isn't even the first time they've "declared war" on ISIS

I feel so much better now.

Didn't they "declare war" on them a year ago? A lot of good that's done.

Ironically, they are using a declaration of war to attract new recruits. That's about it.

Best they can do is stay out of the way of the already orchestrated, professional cyber-intelligence teams who have equal (or better) talent and better access to info. If the hackers find something, it could spook the terrorist who is already being watched by professional teams.

Imagine a vigilante interrupting a FBI/CIA surveillance team who is watching a terrorist cell hang-out, but waiting for leader to return to act.

The sad part is it will probably take a major terrorist attack again on US soil to give it the extreme attention it needs. Just dropping more bombs isn't going to do it. That's like trying to bomb ants off the planet. There's always more ants that will come up from underground. Somebody is going to need to send in serious ground forces, flush them out, and kill them. Even then...their strategy will probably be to hide in civilian homes until the threat is gone. This is what happens when one side's intent is to destroy anyone not them while the other side's is to try to pinpoint strikes while saving civilians. If civilians are in a Daesh controlled city and die from air strikes, then isn't it still Daesh's fault? I mean...trying to fight an unfair-and-immoral-terror group while fighting friendly is a sure way to prolong and/or lose a war. Question...are all those "civilians" in Raqqa, Syria (Daesh's proclaimed capital) basically prisoners or are they Sunnis who believe in what Daesh is doing? I mean...I see a lot of them as probably hating the West because they feel they are being bombed and killed indiscriminately by the West when, in fact, Daesh has brainwashed them into thinking this is a Western conspiracy to kill all Muslims. At some point, the gloves have to come off. I don't recall anyone giving a crap about German civilians being carpet bombed in WWII and they were brainwashed. War is not supposed to be casualty friendly. It's obviously not working.

But, even if you defeated most of Daesh, unless we plan on an extended occupation again...what's the point? It's obvious no one can control those large swaths of territory over there and it's mostly because of the sectarianism. Those people cannot co-exist peacefully. Terrorism has seen to that. They will always be blowing each other up and civilians will always be targeted. They are not interested in a fair fight. They are interested in creating chaos.

Or maybe it's because we've shifted too much that there will be attacks on us.

Don't spook the terror demons, and throw three jail Mary's!

Millions would need to die, many many millions. Because you would need to eradicate entire cities to destroy terrorists and jihadist. What you are really talking about and supporting is genocide. It's what Israel wants to do in Gaza when it has a pretext like a rocket launched onto a strip of desert.

See a fool like you has no idea about what really is going on. You have no idea what ISIS aim is here even though they are pretty open about it. They aren't looking to strike fear in people, they are looking to start the very kind of war you want. They want that brutal permanent war between the west and as many places as possible. War is their goal. They are not happy the US left Iraq. They want as much war as possible.

They want to radicalize more and more people, and they want the help of people like you. You are their brother in arms, they love you. If they could read your writing, they would take your messages and share with the young Muslim minds they wish to brain wash - to show how the west sees them, to create hate and fear and use that to create more jihadist. You are their best recruiting tool - way to serve them fool.

Germany has to be concerned about a potential attack soon. No clue how they've avoided a major attack all these years while NYC, London and Paris have suffered.

An attack in Germany as successful as that in Paris would result in a massive change in the opinion of the German people.
