Dean's gaining ground... and the DLC isn't too happy about it (why I'll never know, since Dean is only 'liberal' compared to Lieberman).

In the next few weeks, one or more candidates will join the race (well, that's just a hunch). Who do you think it will be? Is the new candidate truly reluctant? Or will the 'Dean-threat' just be a vehicle for someone that is suprised by Bush's slip in the polls?

I think Clark will join the fray Monday or Tuesday and then it quickly becomes a 3 man race between him, Kerry, and Dean.

I will be ecstatic if Clark does run... if anything, it will be a learning experience since so many of us have been clamoring for his candidacy (ie, actually getting what you ask for).

I'm not averse to any of the 'real' candidates and I'd even vote for Lieberman (*shudder*)... but if Clark could get traction in one of the early states... and if the establishment could help him secure some bank... then the party's fortunes will look awesome.

I get the feeling is may be a Dean/Clark ticket.

I'm thinking you're right ... although I kind of hope its a Clark / Dean ticket. Dean would make a great VP candidate in my opinion - he could focus on bashing the administration - something he's very good at - and let Clark (try to) present himself as "above the fray".
