Stop with the Miami Heat comparisons. First of all, they had the greatest player of his generation on that team. Second, take a closer look at their early season record. They started 8-4 and then had a bad stretch of 4 losses in 5 games that landed them at 9-8. The Rockets have started 4-6 which is far worse. Also, the Rockets are getting demolished in their losses. 4 of the first 5 losses by the Heat that season were by 5 points or fewer, including 1 by 3 points and 2 by 2 points(including an OT loss).

Oh, and one other thing. The Heat proceeded to win 21 of their next 22 games after that 9-8 start. Does anyone watching this Rockets team think they're capable of a stretch of ball like that? Hell, they'll be lucky to win 4 out of 5.

It's not derogatory as you think it's like dude most of the time (not all so don't use it) .:) And I didn't complain I didn't know the use of the word was neutral gendered and I apologised. And I'm also not calling people on here malakas either. If I started a post by calling YOU malakas you would have every right to complain.

All true. Plus MIA was incorporating 2 new major pieces while the Rockets only one.

I haven't been on clutchfans in a while, and this is the most encouraging thing I've read this season. Good to know.

I don't listen to anything Less says. If he were serious about anything having to do with the team, we wouldn't be in the situation that we are in now.

He stoically put up with that toxic Bulls FO for a long time. Morey and Les, who are by all reports nice to work with and will occasionally sign a vet just to keep coach happy, would be a massive improvement.

LoL. They are way much toxic. They won't even hire Thibs.

One guy that scares me if they hire is Shane Battier. He stat loving 3 point soft person specialist

    No way, man.

Morey has given us a lot of reasons to believe he has sound short and long-term plans, and although he has made mistakes (Dorsey, Lowry, Williams, Flynn, White) he has gotten good offensive talent and delivered on his promises of acquiring players (Harden, Howard, Lawson) or at least making a true run at them (Gasol, Bosh).

Rick Smith has never put together a competent offense or given us any reason to think things will ever change.

The commonalities are that they both have unsuccessful coaches at the helm right now and their teams aren't panning out like they looked on paper.

Finally back in PHX, away from the Denver cold and the fiasco I saw at the Pepsi Center. Had a great discussion with the older guys on my "team."

I guess there have been a few team meetings, but I think we already were aware of that. Nothing like the heavily-publicized meetings like SacTown and the whole alleged Boogie Cousins vs. Coach Karl (No one brings up how many times he's had issues with players in the past: Sam/Jesus/bigDog/Mase/Melo/JR etc...) The interesting thing is the structure of the meetings. No one knows exactly what was discussed, but apparently, some of meetings have had fluctuated numbers. Some present, others not. No names. Take it as you may...

**I'd like to hear from Cyber, too. Sounds like he's heard something directly from the FO.

It sounds like what it looks like: A lost team with a tired coach.
