Just wanted to see if anyone else is going to the Sprite Liquid Mix tour tonight at the Woodlands. I'm just going to see N.E.R.D. but will probably check out some of the other groups too.
Go early to see Robert Randolph and the Family Band. The man is an absolute GOD on the peddle steel. I'm listening to his rendition of Voodoo Chile right now. www.robertrandolph.net

n.e.r.d. rules! i had no idea they were on tour. are they comming to austin or even san antonio? please give a review when its over. id like to know how they sound live. thanks.
Wow....the concert was simply awesome. My wife and I had pit tickets so we were right there in front. Pharrell was rocking the place, playing alot of the tracks off of In Search Of, but also played alot of new stuff. He said they are planning on coming out with a new album in February. After the show he jumped off the stage and walked by the fans up front. I actually got to talk to him for a bit which was awesome. Man, the show was just great! One of the best I've seen, and I've been to alot of good concerts.
I don't think N.E.R.D. gets enough run from the music snobs/elitests around here. In Search of... was a highly rated album.
